People like to say KD ruined this “rivalry” but to me his addition kind of proves how superior the dubs always were. He was never needed to beat the Cavs but he was needed to sweep them. Only suspensions and injuries have been the downfall of the dubs in the finals, and still they’ve never been swept. Still it gave Cleveland a series tipping advantage in 2016, so adding another all star for Barnes a year later was justified in the manner it gave the Cavs a taste of their own medicine.

As far as I remember this game was one of the longest if not the longest game I've seen live. The thing is Cavaliers couldn't maintain that intensity through the whole game. They were very tired during the game and the only two ways they could get rest besides the time between quarters were timeouts (but theres limited amount of them) and stops due to referee's whistle. And that was the way refs impacted this game the most. They stopped this game every time they were able to. Especially in the 2 half. They discussed almost every decision and sometimes they talked for minutes, so that teams literally used these stops like timeouts and were able to get much rest. And Cavs really needed that while Warriors looked pretty fresh, so I would say that ref's played in favour of Cleveland. It was obvious when the game was played but you cant see it in the highlights compilation. But thats just my opinion and I may be wrong. Anyway both teams played really good (Cavs played exceptionally well) and the game was really interesting.

Kawhi shot in front of the 3 point line and zaza somehow ends up with his foot behind the line on top of kawhi’s foot. I genuinely hate the amount of “what if” because of this series. Kawhi deserved so much more man
