@@hardanddryjojo5449 I’d say this game is one of the easiest from Paradox’s lineup ^^ Some things that confused me when I first started - and are good tips in general would be: You can only declare war when your armies aren’t raised - don’t worry about having a standing army when in peace time, only raise them when at war Make sure you have vassals within your nation, if you don’t, you’re gonna have major debuffs that will ruin you And on that note, make sure your vassals like you, and I’d also make the amount of land they own just to the dejure level below you, so if you’re a Duke, make them counts, if you’re a king, make them dukes, and if you’re an emperor make them kings (counts can’t have vassals) that way, you don’t have so many vassals that they just overwhelm you and you can’t control them, and you don’t have vassals so big that they can conquer empires on their own 😂 Finally, if you ever want to win a war against a nation with superior numbers to you, your best bet is to form as many alliances as possible (alliances are formed through royal marriage) Just taking one of my children and marrying them to the most powerful leaders possible has gotten me out of a lot of tricky wars 🤣 It’s even what helped me beat the Byzantines and papacy in this video ^^ But in general, once you have the basic mechanics of the game down (there’s not a lot you need to know) you can become an absolute monster >:)
