Hey Anders, the bike has slightly ported exhaust valves thats why it has a bit more grunt and revs slightly faster. As for the exhaust i used Akrapovic pipes paired with Remus Revolution GP slipons. The result is excelent. Its not inconviniently loud should you wish to travel long distances, and if you twist that throttle hard it will grunt to oblivion, and the gargle form the downrev is amazing. Plus there is a power gain (as measured on a dyno before the valve porting) of 3.9hp at the wheel. However you should consider tuning the bike afterwards since it will tend to run either very rich or very lean. Also a very good and sort of cheap upgrade after you install the exhaust is a performance spec ECU, either a DucatiPerformance ecu or the RapidBike. You could opt for PowerCommander but its doesnt work so well on 2cyl engines. I used RapidBike ecu after this video and the bike transformed!| Hope this helped. :)

To tuono στο video ειναι 1η γεννιά. Αλεξίσφαιρο μοτέρ. Καλά ηλεκτρικά, ειδικά αν βρείς κανένα R. Απλά τρώει τα κόμπλερ της μίζας σαν πατατάκια. Αν το θές για μια κυριακάτικη βόλτα μόνο αξίζει τον κόπο. Το πολύ να σου κοστίσει κανα 100αρικο μαζί με την αλλαγή το κόμπλερ κάθε 2 χρόνια. Για καθημερινό μηχανάκι δεν είναι και οτι πιο άνετο. Κατα τα άλλα το ,μηχανάκι είναι σχολείο!!! Τα κάνει όλα παρά την ηλικία του!!!

Απο θέμα κούρασης και θέσης οδήγησης μην το υπολογίζεις είχα μονό ss και κάθομαι πάνω με τις ώρες. Σαν μηχανάκι τώρα δεν ξέρω αν θα χει θέμα με πιο συχνή χρήση.. Αν και σκέφτομαι για 2ης γενιάς

Hi bro, multi is my bike. Tuono is my friend's. I prefer the MTS to be honest. It does everything. Touring, trackday, coffee ride :) . The tuono does all the above but its a bit of a handfull. You get tired very easily on the tuono. But its still a great bike. Its not too cramped but its not to roomy either. Kind of in the middle. Good thing is wether your tall or short you fit easily on the Tuono. Im medium height but a bit fat, yet i have no problem riding the Tuono.

The DS is pretty much bulletproof. Only thing yuo have to worry about is proper lubrication history. Other than that and some random fuel pump issues the bike is a perfect allrouder. Pro tip: All MTS DS bikes had a standard issue where the fuel indicator would only idicate the correct amount of fuel until half tank. When in half the indicator would switch to refuel warning. If your future DS has no problem with the fuel gauge the DOUBLE CHECK the bike. Its a certain indication that the fueling system has been tampered with.

i hate driving without gloves

Makes my hands cringe every time I see it. I did that in undergrad for awhile, like 30 years ago when I was young, dumb and stupid. BTW after four Triumph Triples I am buying a DS - 1000S next week :)

+Giannis Spyratos Φιλαρακι όποτε έχεις στο μυαλό σου Aprilia θα υπολογίζεις οτι τρώνε τα κόμπλερ της μίζας σαν πατατάκια. Είναι κανα 200αρι ζημιά που θα την βγάλει οπωσδήποτε. Εκτός απο αυτό είναι γενικά αλεξίσφαιρα μοτέρ, στρίβουν όσο τίποτα άλλο σε δύο ρόδες και η απόδοση της δύναμης είναι τόσο προβλέψιμη και προοδευτική που κάνει ακόμα και έναν άπειρο οδηγό να μάθει πολύ γρήγορα. Το συγκεκριμένο μηχανάκι έφαγε πολύ ''ξύλο'' στον ενα χρόνο που το είχε ο κολλητός μου στο βίντεο, και πραγματικά εκτος απο ένα κόμπλερ μίζας δέν ζήτησε ποτέ τίποτα. Βενζίνη, λαδάκια στην ώρα τους και φούλ βόλτα και πίστα αμα γουστάρεις. Καλή τύχη στην αναζήτηση και την απόκτησή του :)
