Transitioning to my question -> I watched this episode to sanity check my Superflex home league draft as we enter our 14th season. Extremely deep rosters (20 slots + IR) and deep active weekly lineups (2 QB, 8 RB/WR/TE, 1 DEF, 2 K). The scoring system has been refined over the years to balance the relative value of positions, which is why only 4 QBs went in Rd1. It's also the only league I know that's somewhat solved the "Kicker dilemma" -> double down and start 2 kickers, elevate K scoring enough to create tier separation. While I'd prefer punting K entirely, the approach of our league is slightly more palatable than K scoring in standard leagues. As for biases, I think I crushed my draft last night. But did I?... time will tell. My evaluation barometer is noting the frequency of feeling like I missed value or got sniped. I got that feeling only once last night. Picking from #9: Hurts (9) - Chase (12) - Pacheco (29) - Achane (32) - N Collins (49) - Nabers (52) - Worthy (69) - Lawrence (72) -> mostly ceiling picks the rest of the way. Question: I added Watson as my QB3 and Fields as my QB4. Even in a league as deep as ours, a few players slip through the cracks of the draft. At the top of my list is Jaylon Wright. I view Fields as a luxury pick but also an extremely valuable lottery ticket (supplanting Lawrence as my QB2 is in the range of outcomes). Given Achane's fragility, I'm uneasy leaving Wright available. The rest of my bench was carefully picked to cover byes, add a bit more floor (Diontae Johnson, R Dowdle), and more valuable RB handcuffs (T Allgeier, R Davis). My drop is Fields if I want to pick up Wright (or very reluctantly drop R Davis). Where do you stand on Wright vs. Fields vs. Davis in the context of my team? Thanks!

First time watching your channel, enjoyed the dialogue and insights enough to subscribe. Going to leave two separate messages as they're both a bit long-winded. First message is to address something specific from your video related to biases, second message is a player-drop question. I found myself agreeing with a vast majority of your player preferences. Loved the Hurts-Love combo to start the draft... and then... well I noted something I've elevated in importance over the years: know the biases and draft tendencies of your league mates. I mean REALLY know them, which means charting out their past drafts and entering the draft with notes on the timing, teams, and depth of players they draft. Which leads me to... ...I was mortified when you picked Olave as the 10th WR off the board. Then Justin mentioned he thought you might take Olave, and I noticed your Saints hat. Please understand no intent to troll your pick, his current Y! ADP is WR12 so hardly a reach. The immediate recoil I experienced is equally questionable, as Olave fluctuates between my WR18 - WR22. One of us is VERY wrong, so there is utility in understanding the "what and why" informing our very wrong intuition. At the end of each season, I assess and note my biggest misses to help reel in biases for the next year. I might end up needing to write a note on Olave...

Time to grade the drafters. Paul, I totally agreed with your thoughts on evaluating a guy from Alabama. The same could pretty much be said for Georgia, Clemson & OSU. But I can tell you guys that Bijon Robinson will NOT get past the Philadelphia Eagles with the 10th pick.

So this is my Wish list for the Saints this draft 16) Charles Cross OT MSU, or Trevor Penning OT NIU (19) Christian Watson WR NDSU (49) Jalen Pitre Safety Baylor, or Perrion Winfrey DT Oklahoma, or Jaquan Brisker Safety Penn. St. (98) Damion Pierce RB Florida, or James Cook RB Georgia, or Troy Anderson LB Montana State (120) Damion Pierce RB, Florida, or James Cook RB Georgia, or Troy Anderson LB Montana St. (161) Percy Butler Safety Louisiana (194) Zander Horvath RB Purdue. That is a draft that would put the Saints at the top of the league for the next 5 years.

That's what they said about the 2017 draft as well. It's a weak QB class. Not a single QB will go in the first round they said. I heard Kevin lamenting that the Saints wouldn't get any of the top ten players in that draft & I told him there would be at least two QBs picked in the to ten & give us a chance at Marshawn Lattimore. Guess who was right.

Come on guys. Pigskin, I thought you said last Saturday on your show that there would be a little run on QBs. you guys are eating the cheese.
