''All it takes to save the citty is one word. One simple Word.'' ''But Stuard, we can't,....'' ''The citty must survive Counceler,...must'n it?'' ''......'' ''So?'' ''Yes,....Captain.'' ''Verry well.''
Bro my city went from 40k to 20k people eventually I united both factions in hating me so much they that they halted the civil war and overthrew me democratically
Week 1: "I will see to fulfill the request of the citizens of New London as its Steward" Week 400: I WILL RESTORE ORDER TO THIS CITY AS ITS CAPTAIN! EVEN IF IT MEANS DRAGGING ALL OF YOU BY THE NECK!!!
Context You're in a LONG Whiteout Tension is Critical All factions are at War All Districts are being seized and destroyed Generator is at 95% Overdrive Everyone hates your guts But you used the chaos to promote yourself to Captain, and exiled everyone to an Enclave... but for how long?
I'm after my first playthrough and done exactly that. I tried to be fair and support everybody, but I was moved by the vision of defeating the frost. Then came the decision what to do about Winterhome, and so I began scavenging for steam cores, trying to lose as little people I could... And then I see the red icon of New London. I thought, "Am I lacking something? Some resources?". Boiling flask of oil. Pilgrims and Stalwards fevor rised. Delegates of the Council arguing. Screen slowly getting black. I knew that something bad would happen, and so I tried to get as much power as I could. Meanwhile, I managed to clear Winterhome. I built the upgrade of the generator. I enacted the Martial Law and got the text describing it, but it was cut short by a cutscene. I already knew what was going to happen. And so the war began... I had two options: Banishing the Pilgrims or becoming THE Capitan. Council gave me the secret police, my own army. Why wouldn't they give me all the power then? And so I managed to ease the conflict and build them their new homes. And then I realised... I created two ghettos... Where people will grow their anger and when I will be gone... They will rebel and destroy everything I built. Simply Amazing game. Kinda whished that "Anger" would be named "The city must not fall" but it can be a side name. (Also, I started my 2nd play and realised that the girl from the ending is the girl that was born in the beginning)
I know I already mentioned this plenty of times before (sorry about that), but my MacBook keeps saying there’s no application that can run the sound files used for this. Any advice?
can you make another one of this but for different endings? I just love how immersive this game is with its soundtracks but I can't appreciate it fully while playing cuz of the gameplay pressure.
Frostpunk: What should we do to build a utopia in the middle of an icy wasteland? Let's just work together. Frostpunk 2: What should we do to destroy a thriving utopia? Money, Oil and Democracy. Oh? shi....
- Who will save us? - Residents shouted in panic. Stewart silently turned his gaze to the paper with the law on the captain's powers. And then he looks at the head of the secret police, who was standing quietly in the shadows. The latter, without saying anything, nodded silently. Nothing can be changed now. The city must not fall.
Fortunately for me in my first play through I was able to send the pilgrims to the wayward moor and still retain democracy by only passing two rule laws. It was pretty hard though.
I've uploaded the voicelines (Announcer, citizen chants, council hall) and Generator Siren/Horn within the Modding servers file archives, you can grab them here if you wish. discord.gg/qGhHDjF2fk Maybe now i can pin comments? let's see!
People are like water: they adapt, improve, overcome. Able to shape into any form they're in. Able to break any barrier that limits them. A person each maybe less than a droplet. But in mass number, they become a flood. A tsunami. Boiling, angry, violent tides that will wash away all the efforts no matter how much you have sacrificed to achieved. "Anger" ost truly painted the overwhelming and terrifying sea of frustration testing how good you are to become the city's final fortified dam withstanding against it.
I did not want Adapters to do that. I supported them. Even if I believed transforming our home into safe heaven via warmth, I got my people to be ready to adapt. Our coal storages never were empty, even if we ceased to use it. Our oil is not endless. I wanted to prepare humanity for both. And I did. My Guards were made not only of progress enforcers, but of adaptors, and allied prisoners. My guards were loyal not to the cause, not to the authority, but to unity. In the end, I achieved peace, while remaining Steward. Even if little Mary Lost her mother because I couldn't prevent all casualties... I believed I prevented the worst.
I love Frostpunk 2 on how people revolt and start rebelling . I wish that halo wars was like that.
But here's the real question. Who is Steward and why do they not hear their people?
My name isn’t Stuart damm it!

I demand an Arcane-like series in the frostpunk universe
Most tame post-apocalyptic universe.
When it cuts from steward to calling you captain thats so cool
"So the Citybuilder game have a Boss music now."
"I dont care if they walk in marches, Arm anyone loyal and fight back!"
it's not a civil war, it's a gang war, they aren't even fighting against the government

The image of stuart in black coat with that music give me a lot of chils tbh
I love this one!
"Stuart, can you hear us?" Evidently not.

Democracy is fun while peace reigns. But we all know that chaos cannot last forever. The city must not fall. Long live the Captain.
CITY MUST STAND. IN ANY COST. HAIL GENERATOR! HAIL STEWARD THE 1st! HAIL ORDER OF NEW LONDON!
it sound like foundation , the fall of the imperium in it from the inside
Pov:south korea
But madlad succeeded

this honestly sold me to the game lol, properly the best non-trailer i came across.
Pov: korea
Georgia and Korea today
steward fixing civil war by giving people some heatstamps before raising taxes by 200%
In korea :
Frostpunk: What should we do to build a utopia in the middle of an icy wasteland? Let's just work together. Frostpunk 2: What should we do to destroy a thriving utopia? Money, Oil and Democracy. Oh? shi....

It must be done
Those prisons aren’t gonna build themselves
I’m sorry but adhering to these factions every whim tired me, eventually I was like you know what go into these enclaves.
Is it possible to do another one of these but with "the great old enemy"
Frostpunk at it again with the boss music.
If I ever become a leader of a settlement in an apocalyptic world, I will NEVER implement democracy.
First hour: democracy is non-negotiable Hour 10: I'll drag this damn city to prosperity no matter the cost!
Man, i wish this video has subtitles in spanish so i show this work of art to all people i know
What happen, i need to know
Was requested by a user on the POV: video, making it public because why keep it hidden? maybe you like this version more?
STEWARD! Do you hear us!?
nah... the steward probably-
why has this been the only thing that allows me to focused on task
i only played frostpunk 1, and it was really good shit. but it seems frostpunk 2 is the real banger here

The path of peace is narrow. ...and as long as we roam this still, cold world, it has no end...
Order! ORDER! *ORDER!!!!!*
Humanity is itself as wild and untamed as the howling chill. Are you taking notes, steward?
