I mean going full combo and Putting up an unbreakable Boards is even more unfun atleast ryzeal and kashsmith Boards are easy to break and dont sit on floodgates

I usually would only play Heat wave in decks that have a lot of OTK potential such as Cyber Dragons and tenpai. Most of the time, unless you're facing something like tenpai, floo won't be forced to go first because the opponent will not want to give you a chance to even set up with floo. Also, when it comes to me deciding to go first, I would much rather use stuff like Feather storm, dimensional barrier etc to shut my opponent off, than play heat wave and buy my opponent a chance to draw into a hand trap before I can attempt to set up. Another issue with Heat wave is that it severely conflicts with the pot cards since Heat wave can only be used at the start of main phase 1 and drawing it/excavating it off any of the pots feels bad. It's bad enough that extravagance has that "start of main phase 1 clause" :(

well you can only heat wave at the beginning of the main phase so i guess it'd be okay but yea

@@darionliger2884 I feel like feather storming and d-barriering the opponent and making your opponent basically skipping their turn accomplishes the same thing while letting you control the following turn. I also feel like Heat wave would just add a brick if I was to main it, and I also don't feel I have the room to side it. That being said, maybe I'll try it out for the fun of it one of these weeks. I'll take this under advisement ^^

It's been a mixed bag with what judges are playing it. Since we don't have a central database for rulings like the OCG it's still up in the air sometimes.

having a pretty generic omni negate that is summoned from the extra from an in-engine card without a monster effect is pretty wild. With the newer Azamina stuff hitting the lowest rarity card in the archtype wouldn't kill the deck, it would lower FKA and SEA power and to make way for Crossover Breakers to fully dominate. This isn't the OCG is the issue, we can draw comparisons but at the end of the day Konami of America have a different agenda with their decisions than the OCG list does. it isn't a question of SHOULD they hit Azamina, it is a more of a "would" question and damn right they would if it ment that the people invested in Azamina now have to go and pull more secret rares to make Deception worth playing still.

@@TophSinex I don't think they want Crossover Breakers to fully dominate at this time on the grounds that INFO and ROTA are still in print and Konami is still selling those sets and if they really wanted to make it more dominant right out of the gate, they would have imported Seventh Tachyon in ROTA instead of saving it for Maze of the Masters in mid march, after Supreme Darkness. There's a strong chance that by mid to late march we'll have another list after this next one and but that list and the releases around it aren't relevant to now, when we have a fairly wide and diverse format at regionals and up that's using cards from a lot of products currently in print and has a major product release incoming to shake up the meta again. The question about this list isn't what is going to get hit, it's really what we're likely to get back.

I like the idea they had with speed duels and duel links but I don't think it would translate well to the main game. I think that's similar to what Weiss does but i'm not sure.

@TophSinex im not sure about speed duel or duel links but it think it'd be nice to kill a consistent ftk by allowing people to only play 1 piece of the combo. but maybe Im still bitter over fairy tail snow's banning, finding an alternative to it for my lightsworn deck was a pain in the butt.

It would also mean that dragon link could actually be playable (speaking of which, why is chaos space still at 1?)

Hello there! The reasons I don't play Jack in the hand is because it requires me to reveal 3 LV1 floo of different names, so I would have to reveal toccan and/or stri and risk losing one of them out of circulation if the opponent does pick to add it to their hand (I only play them as 1 ofs each so I wouldn't any more copies). Stri and toccan collectively are very important in my ability to recycle empens and unexplored winds in a very grindy game. I also would not want to blindly give my opponent the option of picking robina if I happen to stumble in the mirror match. For these reasons, it didn't feel worth making room in the deck for Jack in the hand. between the pots and advent I feel had as good consistency as I could ask for in this deck.
