O'reilly auto parts
Awesome video.....well explained and to the point! Thanks
Did he say dodge Pontiac g6
Sir, Thank You so much for your help!!!
I going to try and use spray adheisive on the underside to reattach the drooping cloth. Think I can do it in sections without fully removing it, just creating access point to spray the adheisive, the liner itself is still fine. In my case it doesn't have to look perfect just want to stop it from drooping. This video was useful in showing how I might create those access point without damaging the outer liner.
You would think, in 2020, auto manufacturers would recognize this problem and come up with something better. Why does it need to even be fabric? Fabric absorbs odors like cigarette smoke and humidity. It’s harder to clean fabric and it sags over time. So I am curious if you could do everything you did, but instead or replacing with fabric, maybe other options? I would prefer some kind of resin or plastic. Anyone have any suggestions?
Sand it down and paint it.
@@amandasmith4720 That's actually NOT a bad idea.
I was going to ask the same question-what’s the headliner made of and if it’s like fiberglass, why not fill, sand, and paint. The van is almost 20 years old anyway.
Thank you for your straight forward instruction on how to change the starter in a caravan. Very smart video and it relieves a lot of anxiety I had about a future replacement. Thanks again.
How long did that take in total with no breaks?
Thank you, sir! About to tackle my 06 SXT.
only takes 3 minutes to replace the dodge pontiac filter people! do it the hood selfers! hells yeah good shit bro!
You leave out so much that this is not even worth watching! This video is not worth a damn!
You really didn't show how to mount the headliner shell back into the van.
What about the wiring, the overhead console and the video player screen? That's really important that you don't show at all! What about the wiring that's glued to the headliner? is that on the next part?
Over and above great work
So you can just pry off the paneling? I don't need to replace my head liner, I just need to make it like it was. After watching a few videos on the subject, I decided to remove and replace the headliner! According to your how to video, most of the paneling just pries off. You seem to have skipped over some crucial steps, like where does one start prying off the paneling. Or does it mater? Taking the lenses out of the overhead light. You, like all the other video on how to remove the headliner of the Chrysler T&C, say one needs to remove this and that, but don't show how to do it! For example, how does one remove the AC vents! You do not show how to do that, in fact you show how to do very little!
No..i have TOO take the back thing off too? Rats. Tires too cuz have too nails, not because of headliner..lo lol. I'm taking the whole headliner out so I can just drill holes through the roof and put my rack on so I can go fly in I'm a girl I just can't drill into empty space I want to make sure there's a nut on the other end.. couple of washers in a lock nut I don't my hang glider to go flying off behind a semi and get ran over like a bunch of other idiots including myself some rinky-dink racks I'm known for my racks. But down sized custom 84 hippie oval window Ohio Canada made van to a soccer mom special not equipped nothing but it's snowflake button 2007, naked as a jail bird. I like your style. I'm taking you to storage with me that's what I do all my work at my shop and do you have a video on how to put a hang glider support on a bicycle rack inserted into the hitch I need a three extra feet like always usually to land..🍻. 17 ' long so.. got a video on how to install something on that front plastic crap they got nowadays I used to push bulldozers around with my van now I'm afraid to hit a speed bump. I'm halfway a mechanic I have an arborist I'm a widow so feel sorry for me and thank me so I could thank somebody else cuz we all need Saint but I sincerely thank you for just being cool & looks to be an honest man I scored today thank you Jesus those are the Miracles I look for and I'll keep talking as long as I don't have to pull those wrenches I'm 62 I pulled enough but you just got to keep pulling and pulling and then you strip the head then you got to get more tools and you can never find the one that you have even though you got 4000 tools and same with bolts nuts screws I spent more time at the hardware store and mechanic shop since I was 3 years old looking for ball bearings for my marble collection in 1964 oops it's spring I better get my racks so I go flying I'll be back..flyfastgirl nice to meet you
its a pleasure watching a craftsman at his work
nice helpful video. great job. a bit less shake cam would ease the watchability but i like the way u showed everything on cam and explained it in an average joes english and still managed to keep it from dragging on and on like other diy videos. plus your opening clip shows that you have a high level of confidence in your work. thank harry.
I do automotive upholstery for a living there are quite a few penetrations in those that one is better than some of the others.
For SCP 3008
Thanks for posting this video! Very helpful; I’m about to work on an 08’ Caravan.
Did u have any luck on the 08? Having this issue as we speak
Laura Bracey - I was trying to help out a friend with his car, so I can ask them how it turned out. It was 2nd in line to another friend I was helping. He was able to take it to a shop & get it fixed. Turns out it was not the starter or alternator. He got a new battery & everything seemed to work fine after that. I will point out that they have the battery hooked up to a portable solar panel($35). It doesn’t necessarily isolate the problem (parasitic drain/ground), but it keeps the battery charged enough that it doesn’t require a jump. Here is a link; www.harborfreight.com/15-watt-solar-battery-charger-62449.html?cid=paid_google%7C%7C%7C62449&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0da-2s656gIVGey1Ch00hg0REAQYDyABEgIFNvD_BwE
Where do you buy a refurbished door wheel assembly?
Dude u did it the hard way all u had too do come right between the battery with a extension goofy nigga taking all that apart #unnecessary
Nothing you did was explained or shown clear enough, this is a piss poor job, shame on your dumb ass
You WILL NEED some type of stretch material. But not STRONG STRETCH like lycra, something weaker so it doesn't bunch up again before the glue sets....
Front bits are called sun visors but whatever.
