The Real Reel with Steve
Канада
Добавлен 3 окт 2024
This first time watching, movie reaction channel is intended for me to fill in the gaps in my movie repertoire.
I enjoy watching all kinds of movies: Classics, Action, Sci-Fi, Low Budget Gems, Horror, and I intend to run through and react to the catalog of a director or actor, now and then.
I enjoy watching different and weird movies so suggestions are welcome.
I am learning as I go, but hopefully, there will be many improvements as more content is created.

Have you ever watched "poor things, 2023"?
I have. It was definitely odd but awesome.
@therealreelreactions yes, beautiful and surreal The acting was pretty amazing, the cinematography was beautiful and the deep feminist messaging was also quite enjoyable As a woman that movie was probably one of the best movies I have watched from the past 3 to 4 years I saw in theathers with my (now no longer) girlfriend and we really went trough a emotional Rolercoaster 😂 We were disgusted at times, angry, laughing out loud, sadly crying It had been a long time since a movie made me feel basicaly every single emotion in just 2 hours of time
Maybe I am giving it more credit than it deserves But it was really a amazing experience when I first saw it in theathers and it became a core memory, I have a hard time feeling emotions and feel quite empty most of the time So maybe the movie making me feel so many emotions in a short amount of time made it really stay with me, who knows
Finally someone reacts to this. Its in my top 5 horror movies. Seems like people cant handle the black and white and ratio. The awful sound is from fog horn, they still use that same sound nowdays. I think they filmed this with the same lens as in the original nosferatu or a variation of it.
Awesome, thanks for watching.
The person he saw at the end was the actual winslow.
Ah, makes sense. Thanks.
This was a surreal one. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Please recommend some great and bizarre flicks you want to see.
This movie is great. Underappreciated for sure.
It's interesting you're wearing a BttF shirt while watching this. The effects team from this also worked on that and even the fact that 88 miles per hour is the key speed is a reference to the rocket car Rokit 88.
@@platinumspider7859 sweet. I did not know that!
13:00 Nice Monster Squad reference, I said it just before you did.
10/10 thank you
I adore this bizarre movie so much. Humble is a classic
As I go through Mike Flanagan's catalog, please suggest more horror movies!
mogwai daffy isn’t evil like the others he just a bit unhinged, only thing he did that was kinda bad was throw food and break the blender, but the gremlin version of him is definitely evil lol
The cringe is strong with this Movie. I love it lol.
1988 UH-OH Pioneer 2001 Definitve Edition. Disgusting. Tantential. Vaginal.
Have you seen warrior the tv series
I have not. However, it is on the list.
I'm becoming a big fan of Tony Jaa. Please let me know of other Tony Jaa films you want to see and any other martial arts movies for that matter. Jackie Chan will make some appearances on the channel.
Fun facts. 1. a young Tuco from Breaking Bad plays the delivery guy who hears Gizmo whistleing 2. This is the only kids movie that I can think of that plays Angel of Death by Slayer and Surprise You're Dead by Faith No More. 3.🎉?
Good points. I thought the actor looked familiar.
I enjoyed reacting to this coming-of-age comedy and I hope to get some suggestions for more movies to watch for the channel!
Please enjoy this reaction, and please suggest more great sequels!
Awesome that you are watching this movie! One of my Cage favourites
Nicolas Cage is an absolute lunatic, and I can’t wait to get into more of his madness.

Stupid funny 🤣 love the sound effects.
This movie actually seems pretty comical and cheesey but I think worth a watch.
Seems like an Interesting movie 🤔 lost sound for a bit but it picks back up.
I have not seen this movie but i love that guys sense of humor.. its gonna be a watch for me.
I'm looking forward to watching Another WolfCop on the channel.
I wasn't sure I would like this movie but it was actually pretty clever and entertaining.. good pick ✌️
You know how Star Wars and Indiana Jones was originally a love letters to the old scifi and adventure cliffhangers of times past? This was a movie quite in the same vein-- there used to be pulp stories that would detail the continuing adventures of people like Doc Savage or The Shadow or Conan the Barbarian. It was trying to recreate the experience of jumping into one of those without having read any of the previous stories. Everybody referring to events and stories that happened previously, that kind of bewilderment in trying to understand how everything works in this world. Plus, Lithgow gets to chew on the scenery before he gets to do Third Rock from the Sun.
This is the best goddamn movie ever made. It is my favourite movie of all time. Did you know big trouble and little China was supposed to be the sequel to this. My favourite part is the watermelon. I’ll tell you later.
@Exordiri You are my first comment for any video! I've only published three so far, though.
Sorry, but this is not true. It's an old rumor that is still running around to this day. From the Buckaroo Banzai FAQ: Big Trouble in Little China was originally conceived and scripted by two newcomers to Hollywood. The following two quotes are from Starlog Magazine (Issue 109, August 1986, Volume 10) pages 10-13. The name of the article is "John Carpenter - Kung Fu Hollywood Sytle" by Steve Swires and the two quotes can both be found on page 11. "Originally conceived as a period western by neophyte writers Gary Goldman and David Weinstein, Big Trouble was updated, streamlined and extensively rewritten by Richter." "Due to a ruling by the Writers Guild of America, Gary Goldman and David Weinstein receive sole screenplay adaption, with Richter credited only for 'adaption.'"
