Uninstall the game and install it again, complete your Cedar Com Piling, restart the game, and hopefully it will be fixed.
what processing core do you have? very important for this game as well.
I had 110 fps last week. Idk what have happened but when i played today it got lower and lower the longer i played saw my gpu was now overheating so smth broke with their latest update lol. Hopefully nvidia released a softare update foe this game

2070s here. I got my game to work okish with a help of a performance mod, and overall medium setings. I get a sstable 60 FPS (no FSR) in the world, dipps to low 40 in populated areas. However, those stutters are the worst because not only does it screw up your aim but whenever they happen the game doesn't register input so I can be pressing heal 5 or so times with animation fullly playing out but if the stutter happens at the exact point when the said meds produce an actual result, the animation will play but you won't heal. Same thing with reloads, mele strikes and the rest. As soon as AI needs to do something the resource costs seem like it's trying to calculate interstellar tavel. Devs seriously need to ptoimise the game cause Metro is = in quality and runs without any issues on much older machines. It's clearly a game/engine issue.

It is your GPU running out of VRAM, you need to change the texture quality to medium and you will be fine.
Would be nice if you added what resolution... 1080p? 2k? 4k?
