My Tutu man was from Ni'ihau, David Nu'uhiwa Enoka Kaohelauli'i. He was a Green Beret in the Army and I also have the Nu'uhiwa Enoka name. Thank you for reminding me of him, god bless!
Ko te reo o Ni'ihau he ahua o rite ki te reo Māori o Aotearoa nei. Ki ōku nei whakaaro he tino karaitiana te iwi Ni'ihau, pai ki a ahau tērā āhuatanga tā rātou. He pule, he himene, he pule, he himene. I could understand about 70 % of the Ni'ihau language. They have 'Ts' and Rs" in their language. Aloha nui i a outou ta ohana o Ni'ihau.

Brah, the Language is just like Tongan! I can hear a lot of Tongan words in this dialect of the Hawaiian language. This is for sure the original Hawaiian language! Ofa Lahi Atu Kanakaz!
