Eloise the musketeer from Wargamer
Welcome to Miniature Mayhem, this video is episode 2 of "Off the painting table". Which is the series where I show my most recently painted minis. This time I have painted Eloise the Musketeer from Wargamer's Hot & Dangerous miniature line.
I bought this figure at Crisis 2024, this summer in Belgium.
It is a beautiful sculpt and I really enjoyed painting it, hope you like the end result!

Very cool nice colour scheme
Well done, superb units and great colors!👍👍
Thank you very much 😁
As a Scot born and bred who lives in Covenanter country (even the name of our local was "The Covenanter") I approve of your choice!
There must be a lot of history in your region!
Very nicely done.
Thank you! 😁
They look superb
Thank you! 😁
Amazing guide and impressive results 😍😍
Nice flames, good job! I also really like your basing though. What base and dry brush colours did you use for the base? Also I could not quite figure out what the light green was from the picture. Is it like toxic waste puddle or something? Many thanks
Thank you! 😁 for the bases I use astrogranite debris technical paint from citadel and drybrush it with ushabti bone. The light green are puddles of leaking warp energy, I thought it fitting for the theme of Skaventide 😜 Perhaps I'll make a video on how I do these bases, thank you for asking!
I'm always happy to see more Warcry content and as you seem to be a newer channel, I'd like to offer some constructive criticism (all personal opinions of course. Maybe others feel differently). Refusing to play 2nd ed. because the rules are only online is of course your choice, but it takes less than 15 minutes to read a summary on the few changes that were made. Considering most (if not all) changes were balancing fixes welcomed by the community, you may end up both having an inferior gaming experience and losing viewers in the first 30 seconds because the disclaimer makes the content seem dated, even though there isn't a huge difference between the editions. The birds eye perspective gives a nice overview, but (at least for me) it is harder to tell the models apart than in isometric view, so instead of "my dude attacks this guy", it would be easier to follow the acutal model names like "my Witherlord here attacks your Defacer". (It also sounds a bit more professional without actually having to act professional =D) Those minor criticisms aside, it was fun to watch your battle report and I hope you will do more Warcry content.
Hi @ayonmetar2301! I am happy you enjoyed the battle report 😃Thank you for your constructive criticism! I'll have a look at the changes of 2nd edition, although I hope 3rd edition will launch soon 😁 Will definitely have a look at improving the shots during the game!! Thank you for your feedback, it is highly welcomed!
Excellent tutorial
I'm happy you like it! 😃
There is a core book for 2e Also more warcry is best skirmish game
True, but for some reason we never managed to get our hands on it, it seems to always be out of stock 😟 Absolutely, Warcry is amazing and deserves more publicity 😁
@@SackysMinis I had to ebay to obtain it for GWs asking price as I couldn't find it any where else
@@agentmaine8352 incredible... GW really has to do something about the availability of essentials
It is an important step in the life of a miniature painter to drink the paint water at least once. ^_^ ( For legal reasons I am joking)
Hahahaha, I hope people can avoid that step xD
As you can see, we are quite excited about the new Skaventide release 😁 How about you, will you get the box?🧐
I really enjoyed playing this game. Thank you for inviting me and see you at the next battle! 😎
Thank you for joining! Looking forward to the next game 😉
Wow, very impressive! I want an army of big blocks of troops. It is inspiring
I agree! It looks really good on the tabletop, but get ready for a whole lot of painting 😜
Yeah I’m looking at contrast paints now, I want to make it as quick and easy as possible while still looking decent.
@@tanen7264 contrast paint and Agrax Earthshade will help you out a lot! Good luck with your project 😎
Thanks!
End result was excellent,great tutorial
Happy you like it! 😁
Good job 👍 🖌️ hello from France 🇨🇵

@@SackysMinis great !! you're french is good ^^
Most beautiful and impressive units, cracking job!
Unit looks good
Very impressive 😍😍
Very nice work just subbed
Wow shoutout from the BMP! 😁 Thank you for the compliment and the sub!
Nice paint job, I do like the subtile diversity of the colors and the impressive details, well done!👍👍
Thank you very much for the compliments!
Very nice job, I think the detail just demands time and a faster job would likely be a poorer one.
Thank you! I agree, sometimes it is difficult to find the right amount of time into the paintjob to have your army done in time and still have it look good on the battlefield.
Wow very impressive! They look super cool 😍
Thank you!
Very cool 😍
Looks great! 🙌🏻
Thank you ! 😁
