And in some cases they do. In fact, I believe one of them, the M26 MASS (Modular Accessory Shotgun) is in the game - it's the underbarrel shotgun attachment for certain weapons, designed as a replacement for the Knights Armaments modified Remington 870, appropriately named the "Masterkey" that was around for years beforehand. Oddly enough, breaching a door with a shotgun isn't as simple as the movies make it look though, as blowing off the lock won't account for deadbolts etc that most modern doors have, which is why the usual doctrine (or it was when I was trained) is to go for the hinges, but that doesn't help when the door opens outwards and, again, many modern hinges have built in deadbolts to prevent just this type of attack. Breaching with a shotgun really only works on older, wooden doors, but it looks cool when it works 🙂

I actually found that AK later and used it almost exclusively for a long time after. It definitely gets mentioned in a later video, but it's a good tip to get it as soon as possible, so thanks for that 🙂

No it's a fair comment. If we continue with this type of series, that will definitely be on the cards. On my other channel, where we're generally filming in my workshop, I use a different setup when the kids are involved, but in this case I just move the boom mic so it's between us. It's not an ideal solution and it will improve in future. I'm still figuring out the logistics of this channel so I appreciate the feedback 🙂

Its because it a stash tied to a quest I think at garbage but not sure where you have to go collect the debt of the owner of shown AK to get it you need to talk to valik make a deal with him and voilà would have been nice to precise it in the short PS:the gun jam a lot so yeah cool AK with a scop but it kinda garbage so...

I confess I collected it myself shortly after doing that mission. I didn't realise it was tied to it, my apologies. I will say, however, that mine does jam occasionally but very infrequently and I've used it almost exclusively since finding it. I wonder if it's something to do with the repair status? I do keep my guns and equipment as fully repaired as possible. Maybe that helps? Thanks for the clarification anyway, I appreciate it :-)

@@SteamgeezerGaming well at least your are honest about it that a good thing unlike other people for the jamming issue I talk from personal experience so maybe I'm very unlucky but 3 jam in a row at 99% of repair is an issued PS: I have already finish the game and your reaction convince me to stick around your channel for a while so stay like that and maybe you will get a subscription 👍

It's funny how many people say it's too easy but I've found it's great at punishing players who get too cocky. You really do have to get out of that mindset that you can shoot your way out of anything, because you really, *really* can't... 😂

@SteamgeezerGaming I've taken to carrying with me either a turret or IED so that I can dump and run if necessary, or 'guard' my back if I'm in a hairy place. The HKs have been amped up so you can never be too careful.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, of course. If it's not the game for you, that's understandable. For now, I've been enjoying it, although I'm wary of the free to play side of it. It does seem like that at times, but I suppose one has to consider that in this future battlefield, one should expect troops and mechs to be equipped with all kinds of sensors, be it thermal, radar, lidar, audio and so on, so situational awareness would be very high, and the AI powered enemies like the drones and dogs would be even more acute to their surroundings. I think the balance right now is actually quite good - you have to be very careful, but you can usually find a way through, and enemies are easily distracted when they encounter their "real" opponents, but one must always remember that, in this game, the player is a very insignificant and squishy part of this world 🙂

The amount of resources you'd probably need for that would land you squarely within AAA and all their risk-management meddling

@blugger I really think they could have gone that route.. This is almost there they continously decided to make an extraction game which just isn't my genre

@@kasper7203 I get what you're saying, but you might want to at least give it a try. I'm not a fan of extraction shooters either normally, but this has the difference of being PvE only, so you may find it more suitable.

I tried the subsonic 12.7mm rifle and I didn't like it. I do have the single barrel GL but I haven't tried it yet. When I do, you'll definitely see it here. I'm still only 20 hours in the game 🙂
