The problem is already fixed. It was about the engine start levers. In this plane they have 3 positions, instead of two: OFF - FTHR - NORM And my levers were on FTHR (which means "feather"). No wonder, that the plane didn't move.

Trick 77 für diesen Flieger: auf den Bremsen bis ca. 15 PSI, damit die RPM auf rund 1700 stabilisiert. Dann Bremse los, etwas rechtes Ruder für die Richtung, leicht angezogenes Höhensteuer, zügig bis 44PSI Throttle setzen und bei 70Kt rotieren. Dann klappts. Kennst du den Discord von SWS? Der lohnt sich. Und eben das Handbuch…

Im Buch der Bücher, man nennt es auch POH, steht: The autopilot (A/P) and yaw damper (YD) must be OFF during takeoff and landing. Bitte im nächsten Video Mikro lauter oder Flusi leiser drehen. Du bist ganz schwer zu verstehen.

Die Start- und Landeprobleme mit der PC 12 hab ich auch, da kann ich dich trösten :D Werde gleich noch meine andere PC12 in Xplane 11 zurück ins Leben rufen, ich dachte die hatte nie solche Probleme gemacht. Das mit der Trimmung finde ich auch echt träge Programmiert. Dein Tipp mit der neuen Tastenbelegung auf eine andere Achse für die Trimmung ist gut. Das werde ich auch machen. Ansonsten ist das Flugzeug doch echt schön gemacht. Optisch, sowie vom Sound her, aber das Handling gefällt mir soweit nicht sonderlich. Leider. Muss man das GTN 750 was du da hast extra kaufen oder? Ps: Yaw Damper bleibt zum Start immer aus, da es wie du bereits bemerkt hast zu extremer Trägheit führt. Die Landschaft sieht echt super aus! Tolle Gegend 😎 Lg.

Noch 2-300 Flugstunden, und Du beherrscht die PC-12 - nicht sie Dich. 👌🤭

I Did a flight in norhter sweden with the Caribou yesterday. It turned out to be a hard landing (with all three gears at the same time), and I probably did a bunch of errors along the ride, but Its good fun, your can feel how heavy it feels in the air. Im not using the AP mod though. I've found there is some "ILS-button", what does that do? Can you follow a GS manually, by turning on VLOC or so? Im very new to the Caribou, but Ive had it for some time now. I just read that the panel is not included. So...you need the payware GTN-750, or is there free options as well? (might be worth it!)

This is why you gotta do your research before buying any add-on. If a plane doesn't have an autopilot and/or a gps, I don't buy it! I didn't know about the trim issue until reading the comments here!

The caribou is a beautiful model that unfortunately can't be trimmed, and therefore can't even be hand-flown as yet. I really hope that Orbx can fix this.

Nun ja, als VFR Flug, bzw. Flugplanung sollte man das aber nicht verkaufen. Keine Lufträume beachtet, kein An- und Abflug über VFR typische Verfahren über eine Platzrunde, bzw. bei kontrollierten Plätzen über Pflichtmeldepunkte. Keine Navigation entlang terrestrischen Merkmalen wie Orten, Flüssen, Straßen usw. (und das wo das hier noch denkbar einfach gewesen wäre -> einfach der Küste entlang). Und ob man mit einer einmotorigen Maschine unnötigerweise so über Wasser fliegen sollte, ist auch fragwürdig. (So ein Motor kann auch mal ausgehen.) Für einen richtigen VFR Flug ist der technische Schnickschnack höchstens als Unterstützung OK und erlaubt. Grundsätzlich musst du in VFR deinen Weg durch das was vor der Frontscheibe zu sehen ist finden und nicht durch eine magenta Linie auf einem G1000 Display. Oder anders gesagt: Wenn deine Displays ausgehen und du weißt weder wo du bist, noch wo du hin musst, dann fliegst du kein VFR.

Schönes Video mit passenden Erklärungen und die Landung unter den gegebenen Bedingungen ist doch auch ok.

At begin I was on my normal front-camera. Then I tilted the camera down to see the sidecontrols and pedestal. And as I pressed the button for the front-camera again I expected, that it then points again to my saved camera position. BUT: msfs shows me the perspective, I used half an hour before at the cabin inspection. Finally after pressing the button again it showed me the perspective I wanted. This is VERY annoying, especially in an approach, where I need quick and reliable my views! I REALLY would like to deactivate that toggle behavior of the msfs cameras!!!!
