how does it play? like a kamio medium?
It plays more like a soft tip than a medium, and I can't compare the hit of it with the hit of a kamui
@@PersistentWolfBilliards could you have pressed it harder to your maximum strength for it to play like a medium?
@@OznerolPool I would use a different single layer tip for a medium playing tip, such as a triangle or Le Pro
Have you found the compression amount so far to make soft, medium, and hard? I am looking to have something that is very close to Tiger Everest tips, which is the only tip I have ever used.
compressing a Milk dud, with the Elk Master Tips you can get a Medium Soft, Le Pro can get harder and the other one whose name is escaping me at the moment can also be used, each can only be compressed to slightly harder than their original softness, but all are able to be turned into Milk Duds
Much improved 🐺. Question, when you started you were very rigid with the grip hand at your hip, was that taught to get you a constant distance from cue ball for address? Before the cue was on the shot line forcing your body to contort or not look down the line at that time. I like your routine now with directly on the line with your eyes.
So before I was adopting more of a snooker horse style stance with the cue locked to my hip which I found absolutely bothersome and I was unable to change my stance to accommodate it. It was a learned stance from an instructor I don't work with anymore. I find that my current shot setup is much more fluid and easier to do consistently.
@@PersistentWolfBilliards I see the after effects of another instructor teaching the hand on hip and I am trying to learn the how and why of it. His students are struggling because of it I feel. The true reason of it may have been misunderstood by these coaches. Looks to me it would be used to get consistent distance to cue ball and nothing to do with alignment(eyes and foot do that)
@CueballcontrolSometimes yes, the snooker stance which is where the hand is close to the hip at start is better for beginners and youth in order to replicate the same position and alignment of the body . Believe it or not its actually really consistent with eye dominance being same as hand dominance. With cross eye dominant people it's not feasible.
Still making these?
Yes I make them still
I'm genuinely astounded-excellent job!
Thank you, Earl showed me for sure why he is still one of the greatest players in the world
1st time i have ever heard of this. i would love to test one if i could let me know the postage to Thailand
You can email me your address and I'll ship you one, when I make a new batch, my email is in the contact me section
Thank you. I have hoping someone would adress this issue of how i could have a better stroke.
No problem if you're looking for something more in depth, I am also and ACS and PBIA Instructor
Is Chuck McMahon playing?
Yes he was in the finals vs Quoc. The live video should appear in my videos.
Strong
A good shot routine is always going to be a part of a higher level game for sure+
I am betting that you are not a dairy farmer. I make Efren class, milk duds.
You're quite correct I'm not a dairy farmer, nor would I say that I was. My milk duds have performed well for myself and people that have tried them out and that's enough for me.
You must squeeze a teat to get real milk. Product from a store is close to white water.
@@dougrichards3649 I also get my milk from the dairy farms nearby
@@PersistentWolfBilliards Bovine will not do.
Can i use powdered milk anyone?
You would have to reconstitute it first
@@PersistentWolfBilliards thanks man i'm already on my 18 hrs soaking and the tip already expanded
@demetrioreyes4450 no problem let me know ow how they turn out
@@PersistentWolfBilliards sure man! Later I will compress it. Excited to know how a milk dud feel!
👍👍 Good shooting players.
It's always a fun turnout, sometimes we get some new guys, and a few surprise players that take it all
Got the same system; wonderful training aid.
Yeah I love my PPB system, I actually have it now set up on my practice table at the club
Well done!! 👍
Thank you man, was definitely fun to watch a drill in practice become a victory in play
Soak leather in liquid, it expands, check Compress leather and it gets thinner, check Dry the leather and it gets even thinner, check. Result, you have a slightly compressed $.75 Elk Master tip.
That's the tldr answer for sure, there is a compound within the milk that acts like a glue which helps bind the fibers together
Happy Father's Day
Thank you!!
Any chance I could get one? I understand it's been a year since you made the video.
How would you compare the deflection of this shaft against other shafts?
So as far as I've been able to notice in my game it is very low deflection on par with my carbon fiber shafts. It's been very been very good as far as both hard and soft shots with spin. I haven't had to compensate for deflection at all.
Looks like a fine cigar 💨
Nice out wolf 🐺👌nice commitment to the shot
Thanks! I enjoynshooting vs Cedric he always makes me think harder and grt better
What a breakout and an out Tim. 🤩👍🔥
Thank you, the person I was shooting against commented man that wagon wheel drill in action is something!
Wow, gorgeous cue
Thank you, its definitely beautiful and I love how it all comes together. Pechauer definitely outdoes themselves with every cue
It’s supposed to be butter milk
Different people use different milks for their duds. I've heard a bunch of different ones, and for me the while milk I get from the local farm does well. Perhaps I'll try butter milk in the future!
I heard it's supposed to be a Le Pro tip and milk from a Russian White Dairy Goat that has given birth within 2 months and daily rewarded with pumpkins and carrots as a treat. And you need to tell the Goat old pool hustling stories every night for 10 days before harvesting the milk used to make milk duds. The milk must not be from the first 10 pulls (discarded) and you must not harvest more than 10 ounces.
I don't know what happened, I tried this with elk master tip, 24 hours in Milk, 24 hours pressed and 24 hours drying process and it came out when installed like it is about to crumble into pieces
@@CaptainOnePocket You are the closest to what Efren’s man would have used. Think Philippine animal husbandry.
6:45 a lot of body/head movement
Will watch today
What is the length?
I have a standard length of 32"
@PersistentWolfBilliards Standard is 29"
Correct I was taking a guess at the length, mine is in fact 29" just measured to double check.
@PersistentWolfBilliards I just received my Hsunami 2.0 also which is a 30" and I'm wondering the weight?
@@tmangan327 mine weighs 3.6 oz
Congrats Tim. 🥳👍. Nice looking shaft .
Looks pretty nice for sure going to give it a test run tonight in a practice session
Billiards toys!! 🎱
It's so shiny!! And so very smooth
Nice 👍
It is absolutely gorgeous!
Congrats
Thanks you so much Rush!!
I always wanted to try a milk dud but I don’t know how to do them or anyone else at that matter
I love shooting with mine, been using for a little over a year now. Have them on both my shooting shafts. Well one of them so far, waiting on my hsunami 2.0
I encourage you to try making them, my entire setup for doing so only ran me around 50$ including the tips. I have a video on my channel showing how to make them as well.
Keep at it, brother. Stay disciplined and you'll get where you wanna be. Now to fins some discipline of my own so I can get where I wanna be, lol
I'm sure you'll get there too man! This year is the year of greatness!
Great job not double hitting so common when balls are that close people foul so often not realizing it’s double hit
Thank you, I work hard to be able to not double hit when close with my follow through!
@@PersistentWolfBilliards that’s the real trouble for me. If I try n use any English when it’s straight on that close I’m bad for following through just a tad and I’ve been trying to learn based of the reaction of the balls if it’s a foul and obviously a honest player knows that felt it hit there stick again
It would’ve been cool if you matched up your hits with the lyrics “BOOM”
Tried to get the cut as close to the boom while working in the audio, unfortunately it was about a .25s off
I’ve played with these for 15 years I think there the best combined with some Blue Diamond chalk really good combination great tip
Thank you for the feedback, I started playing with them a little over a year ago on a suggestion from my tip guy, then decided to make my own and have been using since. Love the way they play
You are 100% correct sir my bad I had forgotten in my older years ..lol
Cue tip milk duds?
Yes, I make my own milk duds using a combination of milk from a local farm and another ingredient.
In 80% of the movie the Cue was too blur to see anything....
Sorry I didn't realize how poorly the camera I was using picked up.
Im glad we were able to get a clear, unobstructed view of this great break
Yeah I didn't realize how much was obscured by Shane.
Spread them out like that without pocketing a ball against a good player, better be prepared to lose. I see run-outs. The slower breaks look great if you can get where you make a ball. Harder and faster isn't always better.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm still working on my break and in 8 ball I'm finding that it's been a real hit or miss situation with potting a ball on the break
I find in ten ball, when I smash them , I rarely make a ball. I find that when I break with a medium hit from between the first and second diamond on the head rail , I always make at least one ball.
You sure seem to play Scott Jamieson a lot, bro ;) -EDIT- I stand corrected, lol
It's a default setting from my streaming service lol, I just have to retitled afterwards
Level cue and follow through...... Perfect advice, should help anyone looking to get better at the draw stroke
Exactly the follow through is probably the most important part
Looking good Tim !
Thanks Gunner
Thank you so much buddy. I appreciate your trust in me.
They look great, I think both My teams might be placing orders
Noice! I’m definitely a fan of the green and black color combo myself! 😎
My favorite two cors, love the color schemes
Stylin and proflin!!!! Sweet look!!
Thanks Hector!
Nice 👍
Thank you, love the fit
Sharp 🤘
Yeah definite loving the pattern and colors
White diamond tip?
Taom 2.0 break jump tip in white
@@PersistentWolfBilliards ah, I have the white diamond and they look darn near the same but I guess that’s cause they are white lol. How are you liking it brother? Been interested in trying a new break jump tip. The white diamond I like it’s very easy to jump but miscues very easy
@@yremixplays4775 I like it, I only break with it as I don't have a jump cue. I have heard it is very easy to jump with from Lil' Chris
did not help no
What does your stroke look like, are you hitting low or are you hitting just below center
I want to be able to draw off 4 rails I can already draw back 8 feet
Drawing off multiple rails requires a great stroke follow through and spin to accelerate the cue ball off the first rail
