Размещение в самом большом на данный момент отеле, 3-400 м от порта по карте... 200 000 м3 камня необходимо для этого причала, карьер в 10 км... 10 декабря, 5° ночью, 20° днем... Жители одеты в шарфы и капюшоны, по индуистской моде... Вот очень хорошие впечатления француза о Туапсе и его районе, в 1910 году...

Mon Grand Oncle âgé de 32 ans à l'époque, Ingénieur Français des Arts et Métiers de Cluny, est venu, à Touapsé en 1910, avec sa Femme et sa Fille de 4 ans, pour participer à la réalisation de la grande jetée protégeant le nouveau Port... L'ancien Port, étant jugé dangereux et ayant causé des naufrages, la Mer Noire bien que fermée, pouvant générer des vagues de 3-4m... Voyage qui était une véritable aventure à l'époque, qu'il a partagée avec sa Soeur, ma Grand Mère, par l'envoi tout au long du voyage, de cartes postales, en ma possession... Départ de Paris en train, pour Berlin, Varsovie, et descente sur Odessa... Puis poursuite du voyage en Bateau côtier, à vapeur, vers la Crimée... Cartes postales légendées en Russe et en Français!... Beauté féérique des Paysages, Montagnes, forêts, grosse chaleur 35° début Octobre, poissons énormes... Beaucoup d'ours, sangliers, loups, renards, cerfs, chevreuils, oies... Arrêt à Yevpatoria (Eupatoria), Sébastopol, Yalta, Théodosie (Féodossila), terminus à Novorossiisk... Puis arrivée à Touapsé... Logement dans le plus grand Hotel du moment, à 3-400m du port selon la carte... 200 000m3 de pierre nécessaires pour cette jetée, carrière à 10km... Le 10 Décembre, 5° la nuit, 20° l'après midi... Les habitants sont habillés avec des cache-nez et capuchons, à la mode hindoue... Voilà les très bonnes impressions d'un Français sur Touapsé et sa région, en 1910...
