For sure!! Looks like it might be happening soon! Thanks for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
wow Will is incredible 🎉
Yeah, there’s no doubt about that! I appreciate your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome!! Making it look easy, but somehow still surprising himself, yet none of us :D great video!
Hey, Thomas! That's the perfect way to describe it 😀 I really enjoy Will's attitude toward climbing 👍🏻👍🏻
That´s great and all but can he send V2 in my gym?
Hey, João! Good point... sadly, he probably can't send V2 in your gym 😢 Your gym must set some pretty hard boulders 👍🏻👍🏻😁
I think we need a "B-grade" system - Number of sessions it takes Will to do a V17.
Hey, Chris! I love it... moving forward, B-grade will be the new O-grade. At least when it comes to bouldering 😁 Thanks for commenting 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video! Thanks for showing me how to stow my new axe!
Hi, Matt! You are very welcome. I'm so glad this video can be helpful to you 👍🏻👍🏻
ini cara cargingnya apakah boleh pakai laptop?
Hello, Isa! Yes, if your laptop has a USB port, you can use this cable to charge your COROS watch. Thanks for your comment! 👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent video for someone like me who’s just starting out. Clear, easy to follow instructions. Cheers 😊
Hi, Paul! Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad that the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I appreciate your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Bouldering ... but enjoy relevant news in other aspects of rock climbing too.
Hey, Andrew! Thanks for your input. I’m pretty much the same… but like you said it’s good to keep up on news in the other disciplines too! I appreciate your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Noice. It looks like keeping your momentum was the key.
Thanks! Definitely… it was a committing move at the end there but once I got comfortable just going for it, then it clicked pretty soon afterward. I appreciate your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Sport for me.
Hey, JB! Thanks for your input. I'll be sure to keep the sport climbing news in the mix 👍🏻👍🏻
I would appreciate it if you would cover Alpine climbing.
Hi, Mark! Thanks for your input. I do enjoy alpine climbing and mountaineering. It's something I've considered covering on this channel. I'm not quite sure yet if I'll be including it, but it's helpful to know that there's interest 👍🏻👍🏻
Mainly bouldering in my focus but of course any record level ascent is interesting including mountaineering, trad, sport etc
That makes sense! Bouldering is my favorite as well, but it's helpful to know there is interest across disciplines. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻👍🏻
bouldering news for me please 😊💪 i love your vids August! 🙌
I love it! That's helpful to know... I definitely enjoy bouldering the most too! Thanks so much for your comment and kind words 👍🏻👍🏻
It’s a great gym!
Hey, Teo! I definitely agree with that. Do you climb there? Hopefully I'll get a chance to visit again in the future 👍🏻👍🏻
Another great video August, keep up the great work! I'm mostly psyched on bouldering but I still love hearing about sport since it motivates me to get out more haha
Hi, Jake! Thanks so much for your kind words. Sames for me in terms of being psyched about bouldering but hearing about what's going on across the board is nice too! Nice profile pic by the way... is that some type of urban bouldering or are you climbing on real rock?
Personally I watch for mainly the bouldering news but having a little bit of both is very nice!😊
Awesome, that's helpful to known! I definitely lean toward bouldering as well... but variety is good. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm a boulder bro so bouldering is my vote! honestly above all though, first ascents of any kind are the coolest news imo.
I love it, haha, boulder bros are welcome here. I definitely enjoy bouldering the most as well. Good call on first ascents though... that's a huge factor that determines a climb's news/noteworthiness. Thanks so much for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
I am a non climber who like to watch climbing videos and like learning about what is being climbed, Both bouldering and sport climbing. I really appreciate the times people climb "classic" routes and you are able to provide the historical context.
Hi, David! That's super cool to hear. I always love learning more about my audience and it's helpful to know that there is interest from non-climbers as well! I've often thought that providing context is one of the values I'm able to provide on this channel, so I'm glad to hear you say that. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Great content as always mate. I think you have a very unique style of showcasing climbing news and it’s very engaging. If anything, maybe it could be shorter videos, just to account for modern short attention spans.
Hey, Alvaro! It's great to hear from you 👍🏻 I appreciate the idea... I'll see how I can incorporate varying lengths of content in the months ahead. RUclips recently announced that Shorts can be up to 3 minutes in length starting mid this month. So perhaps I'll experiment with some things in that range too. Thanks so much for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Bouldering or route climbing?😲 Bro, is this some sort of weird trick question?!🤨 Whatever the case, my answer is, yes, please!😃 In all seriousness, tho, I'm more interested in the magnitude of the accomplishment than whether it's boulder, sport, trad, or even something else like Tom Randall's sick buildering first ascent.
Hey, Adam! Haha, perhaps it IS a trick question... and you've passed the test 😆 Yeah, magnitude is a great way to think about it. For example, it's not every day that someone sends a V17 or 9c, so those stories easily rise to the top as something newsworthy/noteworthy. I appreciate your comment as always 👍🏻👍🏻
I like the variety but I’m much more into sport climbing and trad climbing news most.
That's helpful to know! I'll definitely keep the variety. Thanks for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Both but bouldering if I have to pick!
Hey, Austin! Same for me!! But I'll definitely keep both 👍🏻👍🏻
Obviously both, but everyone knows Sport is way superior. Even though there's a lot more bouldering going on.
A strong opinion has been shared! I love it 😀 I have to say I fall a bit more on enjoying bouldering the most... but it's hard not to get inspired by insane 9c routes from Adam Ondra and the like. Thanks for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Both!
Hi, Logan! I appreciate your feedback... I'll definitely plan to keep talking about both 👍🏻👍🏻
i like both but buldring is cooler
Hey, Ruben! It's hard to beat bouldering, isn't it 😉 In recent years, it's become my favorite climbing discipline to follow and practice. Thanks for your input 👍🏻👍🏻

Just snagged three of those Climbing Culture brushes.😀 At least for my order, that was $27 out-the-door with free shipping and tax included. Not bad!😁
@@adamhaas141 That’s AWESOME! I’m super excited to hear that. I think you’ll like them a lot and I look forward to hearing about your experience with them - as will Austin from Climbing Culture. I do appreciate that they keep their prices reasonable… that’s one of the things that made it an easy Yes for me to partner with Climbing Culture 👍🏻👍🏻 By the way, are you keeping all 3 to brush thrice as quickly? 😄 Or will you be gifting some of them?
@@augustclimbing Yeah, I look forward to testing them out myself.🙂Austin sent me a nice email straight away, so they're a 10/10 so far.😄 Was figuring I might just stockpile the brushes, but maybe I'll donate one or two to the training-for-climbing gym of which I'm a member. It's a small gym with boards and cool stuff to help climbers get strong.💪 Might be interesting to see what other climbers think and see how the brushes perform deployed in a gym environment.🤔
@@adamhaas141 I love it! Yeah I know Climbing Culture would love feedback on the brushes both now and as you (and others) use them over the long term. It’s the first production run of this brush, and I’ve been really happy with it so far, but even small suggestions will help with future iterations to make it even better 👍🏻👍🏻
Just place a ladder and climb up there work smarter not harder
Ah yes, why didn't I think of that! 😆 Bouldering is a bit ridiculous when you take a step back and look at it from that perspective. Yet it's still so fun and rewarding! Thanks for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
Great episode and congrats on the sponsorship! I am excited for Will Bosi and hope he can repeat Aiden’s projects to confirm the grades. Also FYI your sound is tinny in the beginning of the video but is normal later on.
Hey, Patrick! Thank you... I appreciate that. Hopefully we'll have more updates on Spots of Time soon! Good catch on the audio. What happened is my wireless microphone was cutting out intermittently, so for those sections I blended in the room audio which was a lower quality for sure. That's what led to the tinny sound. Hopefully I can figure out what the issue is with my mic. And thanks for pointing it out 👍🏻👍🏻
Don't forget to check out today's sponsor - Climbing Culture! This link will automatically apply code AUGUST for 10% off your order: climbingculture.shop/collections/all?ref=AUGUST

Nice video my white climbing negro
Really appreciate the timestamps and your coverage/explanation of the comp climbing with links. Cheers to another solid update!

the real question is when will he put up his own v17?
I imagine he's on the lookout for a V17 line of his own! I'd say it's only a matter of time 😀 And that will be an exciting day for sure. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats on your first sponsor! Nice climbing news summary
Hi, Alexander! Thank you, I appreciate that. And I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment 👍🏻👍🏻
There is a 8B+ slab from Dan Varian called Magna Strata
Wow, I just looked up some photos of it... that's wild... what an amazing looking climb! Are you aware of any videos of the ascent? I didn't find one on first glance. Pretty cool to know there is a V14/8B+ slab out there. Thanks for sharing the details 👍🏻👍🏻

I think, the picture suggests, that there is actual footage of the comp
I can see where you're coming from... and I appreciate the feedback 👍🏻👍🏻
boring. No actual climbing. Just talking about random things.
Ah yes, this more of a climbing news and recap video. I would have loved to include videos of the Olympic climbing, but alas there are copyright concerns with doing so. Thanks for your feedback 👍🏻👍🏻
I was working on one for the longest time, i could do all the moves just not on the same attempt because it was a long boulder and I had no energy towards the end. I got so close but then they removed it 😢
Ah yeah that's so challenging to piece together all the moves on a power or endurance boulder! That's too bad that they removed it... I've had that same experience too many times to count 😆 Hopefully they've got some nice new problems up there for you. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻👍🏻
I sent my first V4 today after countless sessions, i live for that feeling i get when i finally finish a problem i've been working on for so long 😎
Congrats, that's amazing!! 🎉 What type of problem was it? That is for sure such a good feeling 👍🏻👍🏻
@@augustclimbing it was an overhang with a lot of slopers which are slowly becoming my favorite type of hold
@@-_-shakezula all right! You must be getting strong on slopers 👍🏻👍🏻

Hey, Johnny! Congratulations 🎉 That's huge and such a good feeling to send your project! It can definitely get a bit scary that high off the ground. How long have you been climbing? It sounds like you're progressing well 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice concise video.
Hey, Michael! I'm glad this video could be concise and helpful for you. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻👍🏻
Looks fun, grade v3?
Thanks, it was! In fact, I keep repeating it each session just for the fun of it. And yes, the setters gave it a grade range of V3-V4. It's approachable for a variety of skill levels but still a fun challenge! Thanks for your comment 👍🏻👍🏻
