I just use the ball mark template and a sharpie. It does wear on the club but that is cleanable.
No, if all I did was play by myself then I would...but when you're playing friends and tournaments you want to be able to use all the newest tech to give yourself the best chance of competing or playing at the same level as your buddies. A permanent handicap isn't worth it. Although it would be funny to get really good with old clubs and school people using new gear, it's just not a realistic expectation though. There's lots of comparison video on new clubs vs old clubs and the difference is way too much to make it worth it.

May wanna watch how right shoulder moves your head at the top of your swing It tends to cause inconsistencies
Bang on my biggest issue. I've found more consistency by having this massive backswing, but to get to the next level, I absolutely have to do that!
I swing left but my right hand is dominant so I have trouble turning the club face over causing me to push slice it rlly bad, your swing looks crispy
Toughest game in the world, I totally get it. I've had and still do have a lot to work on. Appreciate the love!

No need to buy the RCT balls - you can buy ball dots or a ball marker template and make your own using any ball. If you use the marker dots , it will get on your clubs, but you can clean it off with rubbing alcohol.
I actually tried the ball dots since this. They do wear quickly but they do work
