IMO, you get a better deal when you go to the markets
@KelliYVRtoPVR 👍🏼 we couldn't agree more! We just wanted to do a video on the things available on the beach. We love going to the markets in Mexico. Thanks for watching!
That time laspe mode has gotten us, once or twice, top!
@aviandv lol. We wish it was only one or twice 😏 I wish GoPro didn't give that option from the side button. I can count the number of times on one hand that we have intentionally used that camera setting. 🤷🏼♂️
@beachbumbling yeah, it was definitely not the best design choice. We've never used that mode intentionally.
Another great video. We just returned from Huatulco. We visit twice a year.
@nomadic90210 thanks so much! We really enjoyed our time there. We can see why you would want to go back for sure! Where do you like to stay when you are there?
Hello guys! I hope you are having an awesome day. What about the video in Decameron Panamá ? 🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦 I am the security guy that you met in that hotel.
Hey guys, really appreciate your efforts. Which resort do you guys suggest the most for cuba. I am a beach person, but wouldn’t mind having some nice mordern facilities as well.
@rasleenkaur9699 although we haven't been there yet we have heard a lot of good things about Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort from a number of people. It is one of the newest resorts in Varadero and the pictures we have seen from friends on Facebook tick your box for modern facilities. It's also one of the shorter transits to and from the airport. You can walk Varadero Beach all day it's so long. Absolutely stunning beach. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Worst resort in the Cayos for bugs, mosquitos and others. Mainly beacause of stagnant water ponds on the resort and a beach protected from dominant winds.
@nathalieforest8497 we didn't find it that bad when we were there. the noseeums were worse than the mosquitos but we came out pretty much unscathed using Natrapel every day. We were there at Easter.
I love your videos. I like your technique. I believe that I have to start showing my face on my videos. Or voice overs. Cheers
@WalknOnSunshine First of all thanks! Greatly appreciated. The most important thing is that you do what feels the most comfortable for you. We like to try to mix it up a bit, keep it light and have fun along the way. It did feel weird doing voice overs at first though lol. Thanks again for watching the channel. Cheers!
Great video! Full of awesome tips and and reviews. Very well edited and easy to follow. We will make sure to check out the Diamond Club option when booking through Sunwing. Any comments about mosquitos in late April/early May?
@JackVanHam Thanks Jack! When were were there at Easter there were mosquitos and noseeums. We used the spray in this short that we got at Canadian Tire and it worked very well. Hardly any bites at all. ruclips.net/user/shorts5smelGmShc8?feature=share
@@beachbumbling Awesome! Just placed the online order at CT! Thanks! :)
@JackVanHam enjoy your trip! Let us know how you liked it it! We have lots of videos from that property here on this playlist if you want some more information. Cheers ruclips.net/p/PLNixRTXYZ4BE-3KerPNvpoEBPUkvPPo_S&si=Xde9BP_vOnnHPOP8
Absolutely love Mezcal . Normally you sip it and prices in Toronto are $65 to $140 for a bottle . I’m jealous
@PeterM-19w that was the first time I had tried it unflavored and straight. Next time I'll give it a sip instead 😂 For the price it sounds like we should have grabbed a bottle or two.. If you like Mezcal, Huatulco is a good place to be. Cheers
@ Oaxaca is the home of most Mezcal but Huatulco has more all inclusives and an airport so will probably take your advice . Thx
👍🏼
This was a great video we are going in March, watched other videos and was trying to understand why exchange for pesos at all but you explained it well. Thanks great job
@@russellbelliveau1694 thanks! Talked to some people this week that were getting 180 or 200 pesos to $1 Cdn in Varadero. We are heading back soon and will pay close attention to the prices and the exchange and how it all plays out. Thanks for watching the video!
All the Google conversions say 1$ cad is around 12 pesos but all the RUclips videos say 100-150
You never want to exchange at a bank or the airport in Cuba. Always on the street or your bell boy or the market. 180 seems like a common conversion right now. Messed up isn't it .
6:03 "Hello guero!"😅😅😅 Strange to see a coast guard cutter docked at a Mexican beach. Fun fact, that ship's home port is just up the road from us in Alameda. We're heading over the Paradise Guy to check his channel out, right now! Looking forward to that 7 bay tour.
@aviandv lol well I did stick out like a sore thumb haha. As far as the Coast guard ship goes, small world eh?
@beachbumbling small world, indeed. I can't help but stick out, too. Avi blends in more, but I'm clearly a gringa.
It might be considered pricy for the area, b ut it is a steal for a US city.
Absolutely!
Darn, you walked right by Quinta Bella and some great restaurants down there in Chahue. Hitting Santa Cruz beach on a cruise ship day is something we would not recommend. You did well at the ice-cream shop. I agree. Pistachio is amazing!! Best in the world! Hot rock n burgers will be a new stop for us when we return this year so thanks for sharing your experience there!
@blessed42-y3m there is so much good food in Huatulco! We will have to keep Quinta Bella in mind next time we are in the area. Hot Rockn Burgers has good food and drinks and the owners are super nice. You should check them out when they have live music. Tell them Beach Bumbling sent you 😂 Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Sooo cold here 🥶 wishing I was back there right now! 🌴☀️🌊
♥️🌅🥂
Wow! Moses's artwork is fabulous!
@tammyday9389 he really is quite talented and also a very polite young man as well. Thanks for watching.
She could put her flip flops on her hands and use them to clap. Then she would have a loud walk on her hands.
@rickmossip3733 we see what ya did there 😅😅
Alejandro is the best! I get a massage from him every time I'm in PV!
@tracyvanraes7950 we talked to a couple of people on the beach that were return customers. Very nice guy too. Thanks for watching!
Do you have any idea what the current exchange is? We’re going in under a week and not sure what to expect. Thanks for the great vid!
@AbigailDyck I asked on a FB page and people are getting 170 to 200 pesos to 1$ CDN. (Not at a bank but on the street)
@ oh that’s great thanks so much for the response!!
You're welcome have a great trip!
Really enjoying your videos highlighting PV & the towns along the Riviera Nayarit! Question: you obviously had a rent-a-car, but if we are only planning a 10-day trip to PV, Sayulita, San Pancho & Lo De Marcos, do you recommend going the car rental route or just relying on hired transfers/buses/Ubers ... etc? Thank you!
@stevencshepherdarchitect9651 That's a tough one. You can go either way. For us, we rented a car because we knew we wanted to travel to a lot of different places during our stay, had 4 adults and we were staying in an Airbnb up the side of a hill in Los Ayala( so just for that walk into town alone... the rental was worth it.) lol We also wanted to have the convenience of being able to come and go as we pleased so for us it just made sense. We returned the car two days before we flew home while we were staying in Puerto Vallarta as you really don't need a car in PV. Renting a car in Puerto Vallarta has been a bit of a hassle from our experience so we aren't sure that is something that everyone would want to do. You don't need a car in any of the towns you mentioned once you are there so for you its just really a question of how much time you want to spend arranging transportation and waiting to go places. Just remember that if you go north past Lo de Marcos to Los Ayala or further that there is a time change to one hour earlier. Hope that helps. We are glad you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching!
@@beachbumbling Thank you for all the great information and the advice. I really appreciate it.
Enjoy your stay. Sayulita was very busy... More of a party atmosphere at the beach. lSan Pancho a little more scaled back than Sayulita and Lo DeMarcos was pretty chill. If you stay in San Pancho and like to swim we would recommend you get an airbnb with a pool. The water at the beach can get absolutely crazy rough. We hope you have a great time. The next series after Huatulco on our channel will be PV and more towns north of there again. Cheers
Do solo vids in future
@paulstephens9274 I only do solo videos on my onlyfans 🤣🤣 but no. We'll be doing them together. Thanks for watching.
if you learn spanish that go a long way. Otherwise great video getting a good view of what its lie on the ground there ..walking tours help alot. Been in Mexico for 8 years different parts and will make it to huatulco this feb to see if i wanna re locate there permanently. looks like perfect weather ill be there this february
We agree with you, Spanish does go a long way, and Huatulco is a great place to consider.
I have questions regarding Mexico, is Marijuana legal? Dispensarys available?
@wyattnavrati7407 while it has been decriminalized in Mexico, it is still not legal. Having said that, there are dispensaries and delivery services in Puerto Vallarta popping up as well as in other cities. If you want to know more, shoot us an email to beachbumbling2@gmail.com with "question" as the subject line. thanks for watching watching the video. Cheers
Aw, thanks you two, you're too kind! You guys are the best.
Lol. Thanks guys. We really appreciate you guys and can't wait to have a drink with you sometime. Cheers.
@beachbumbling can't wait for that day, too!
Hot Rock'n Burger rocks!
@brucemontrose we couldn't agree more! Great drinks, delicious food, live music, awesome owners. What more is there? Cheers!
nice, that is cheap...I've watched a few of Avi and Vs videos in PV...
Great to hear. We are working on a collaboration in the future with them.
Subscribe to the channel to see the boat tour we went on on an upcoming video! Cheers 🌴🏝️🌅
I stayed here continuously for years. 14 times to be exact. Last December was my last. It was the worst experience I had there and will never return. Most of the staff I made friends with are gone now to US and the ones that are there are miserable. The staff over the years always would be wanting something from you. The resort never really renovated the rooms just kept painting over the mold. The food was a great way to lose weight because it was never good. Most major airlines have finally dropped them as a client, finally.
parrychizawsky8557 that's too bad. We enjoyed our stay there mostly. Minimal shortages at that time. This video is coming up on 2 years old now so it sounds like things have degraded considerably since we stayed there. Thanks for sharing your experience and for the update.
Love this video, my family and i are staying at the krystal grand side, do you know if my kids can you the water slide at your resort? Its hard to get a answer lol
@1981megascotty if you look at Air Canada Vacations website it is listed as a stay at 1 play at 2 property so it looks like you an go from the Krystal Grand to the Krystal but not from the Krystal to the Krystal Grand so it looks like its a yes. The sunsets there are incredible. If you like street food check out the street food video we did that you can walk to from the resort. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
@@beachbumbling thank you so much and i did watch that food video :) so excited and thank you so much again
@1981megascotty lol awesome. Let us know how you liked it at the Grand!
@@beachbumbling definitely will, I think stay at 1 and play at 2 means if u book a suite u get access to the hacienda side if over 13 🤷🏻♂️ but we will see.
@1981megascotty I just emailed their front desk and asked. We will see if they respond.
Thanks for this. Been looking for something just like this. Got a plan for next month: first time and plan to spend minimal on resort and eat local
@Topherguy84 we highly recommend the Waco's Club. Didn't take any pics but we had a great meal there. Wouldn't go too late as the menu options get slimmer as you get closer to closing time. Enjoy your trip!
We are planning to go to this resort, i do have a question, how to get Diamond club? I don't see any link on website
@oksanatoupitsyn3524 you can upgrade when you get to the hotel if need be. We are from Canada and if you go to a website like redtag.ca or itravel2000.com it will show up as an option if you click on "other durations/room options. Hope that helps! Enjoy your trip! Cheers
You can tell the woman is a heavy smoker.
🤣 Ok..
Can hear the cigarettes in her voice and her skin has that smoker’ yellow. Her chest area gives off an energy of heavy burden fatigue. She needs to quit today.
Great video! What was the weather like? We spent the first week of December in Puerto Vallarta and it was in the low to mid 80s. No humidity. Happy New Year!
@watdahek2 it was very hot during the day. A Low of 74 ish at night to high of 92. Humidity fluctuated but it was noticeably humid when we were there with some nice breezes by the water. Time frame was last week of Nov and first week of Dec. Happy New Year!
What time of the year was this?
@eugenetv this end of November/beginning of Dec.
Thank you for this! Was a bit nervous about my booking but I think we’ll have a great time!
@amynguyen166 we liked that place and would stay there again. The location is perfect if you want to spend time in zona romantica. You can walk to almost anything and grab boat taxis right from Los Muertos pier. Don't forget they have a 2 for 1 happy hour there once a day as well. Cheers!
I am really liking these videos on hualtoco. You may have sold me on Mexico. Is there alot of Canadians down there? Any safety issues to be concerned about? Cheers!
Paul-wo1pi Thanks Paul! Huatulco does have a lot of Canadians in the area. More and more each year. We were out at all times of day and night in La Crucecita and we had no issues there. It will be very hot, even warm at night. Cheers
@beachbumbling thanks
Did you book flights and an Airbnb for this trip?
@hollydaury724 we actually booked our flight and hotel (Hotel Villa Blanca) as a package on redtag.ca but we did pay to add a breakfast plan.
@@beachbumbling good to know, I usually use Expedia.
We use a couple different ones. You may have to click on "other durations/ room types when you are looking at the hotel to see the breakfast package.
Thanks for the awesome and informative content. Heading to Memories Caribe in February 2025, can't wait!
@@dionhiggins we liked that property. The beach is AMAZING and make sure to take a bus or cab down to Playa Pilar if you are looking for a change of scenery it's gorgeous too. Enjoy your trip! Let us know how you liked it! Cheers
another awesome video, guys! When did you guys go to Huatulco?
@jays2035 You're looking at the end of November into December
Ahhh, it's so cold here 🥶 - wish I was back here!
🏖️🌞🌊🥂
You have to walk on your hands to the beach? 😅
@georgedodwell1721 you lost me but it definitely wouldn't be the first time I said something weird 🤣. What time of the video are you talking about?
@geirgedodwell1721 🤣🤣 8:21 that's pretty funny now that you mention it! Cheers
Looks like our kind of breach! Not too crowded, great for swimming and cool wildlife- gotta love it! We'll get that translation done for you, ASAP!
@aviandv there are 36 Beaches in Huatulco most of them fairly small but nice sand and some of the nicest water we've seen on the west coast. I can send the video clip if that helps. It was too large to send over FB. Just sitting down to watch your new video now. Thanks for translating for us. Cheers
Thanks for the great video. My wife and I will be visiting the Krystal PV this March.
@bigturkgaming76 we're glad you enjoyed it. We have more videos on that property and area if you'd like to see more. Check out the street food one. It's in walking distance from the hotel, cheap, lots of options And delicious 😋 Enjoy your trip! Cheers
I paid for rental on Priceline and when i got to rental place in puerto vallerta they wanted charge me $2000 when i paid for insurance and for rental on priceline already so we walked out with no car and dispute on my credit card lol
@paulamoreno805 that's so frustrating. That industry needs a huge overhaul in Mexico. We love Mexico but we don't love renting cars in Mexico LOL. Sorry to hear about your crappy experience and know that you're not alone. Cheers
What an experience with so much excitement. I'll be going there this coming May. Thanks for sharing.
@WilliamOWilliams thanks and enjoy your trip! We really liked it there. Cheers
Great video guys! We were in Cayo Coco in 2019 and stayed at the Hotel Pestana which is now called Hotel Playa Paraiso. Loved Playa Pilar but didn't make it to Lenny's. At the time there was a small lobster vendor beside our Resort which had good lobster but Hotel Melia Jardines del Ray is there now. i suspect but don't know for certainty the commercial fishermen don't use ice on the Ocean unlike our fishers?? We are off to Las Terranas, DR in February. Just came back from Huatulco last month and crazy hot!!! Cheers!
@loneranger8293 we are thinking about the DR in April possibly. We are doing Huatulco videos on the channel right now. Loved it there and your right it can get pretty hot to here lol. Thanks for the comment and for watching! Cheers
@@beachbumbling Just finished watching your videos guys! Keep up the good work. Nice now there is a direct flight from Winnipeg to Huatulco. We also stayed at the Hotel Villa Blanca. Punta Cana lots of Resorts but we stayed in an Airbnb on north coast of DR in small town called Cabarete.
How did you like that. Did it feel safe at night?
@@beachbumbling 100%! We walked lots at night in Cabarete and of course on main road and the beach has a ton of beachclubs on the beach. Las Terranas is 3 miles east of Cabarete on Samana Peninsula so we want to compare the 2. The beach was awesome for walking as goes on for miles unlike small beaches in Hualtulco. Delightful travelers has some good DR videos and live there. They are from Nova Scotia.
@loneranger8293 we have watched some of there videos. We like their channel. I think we saw some videos when Jumping Places were there with them. Right now we are looking at Punta Cana but haven't made any decisions yet. Thanks again for your comments. Greatly appreciated!
I'm definitely going Premium 😮 just to have those 4 reservations ready. Premium buffet is also a plus. Thanks
@alexlalonde4190 the grill at lunch at the beach was a plus too. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip!
Argentina...??? You need to take more water with your Rum.!!!
@oliveringram3056 🤣🤣 the problem may have been too many rums the night before lol. Cheers
All mexico is gotten very expensive now and the new government is very scary now be careful things are changing in Mexico
@RexPonder-y6b the It's definitely not as cheap as it was 5 yrs ago that's for sure. But nowhere is really. You can still find some pretty cheap places to eat off the beaten path. Thanks for watching!
Wow, those rays were super cool! Great capture by the videographer! Can't wait to visit that place.
@aviandv lol right time, right place. I am a bit of a geek when it comes to stingrays since Stingray City in Antigua.
Great video, love Huatulco, so many great places to visit, eat at and see. A few years back I had a manta ray jump right beside me while swimming at Las Brisas, I’m not sure who was more startled me or the ray! Did you guys see any whales while you were there in November? Thanks for the video again 🍻
@danterrisastark8920 thanks so much. We were there into the first week of December and we think we were a couple weeks ahead of whale watching season. When we booked our 7 bay tour the guy said whale watching was coming up so that makes sense. Had some good snorkelling on the boat tour though. Cheers!
