Просмотров 1,6 тыс.8 лет назад
Another video of the Nava 909. A few days ago I completed a Nava 909 project for a friend. In this video he is visiting to pick up his new drum machine. Before he left we recorded a short jam session with it and the Modular Synth.

Epic
Wow
Love the green buttons and knobs. :D
black and green is boss!!! nice
What did you use to upload the pixie recpu firmware via midi SysEx? something like a usb - midi cable ?
why we have 3 plastic screw nuts and washers in ours RE's? to prevent grounding issues or what?
Wow not only is this analog but it's discrete analog
I see some IC's here and there
Dopest beats near 6-7 minutes where do you get the NAVA?
Where did you find the metal brackets for your potentiometers? I can't find them anywhere :(
I think they come with the Kumptronics case
what an effort of making this video, really appreciated
for real!!!!
Beautiful
Great build! Thanks for the content
Thank you for watching.
Damn that looks like a lot of work.
nooot bad man
Sounds really good
yeah, so i want this bad
from 6:00 to end so dope patterns dude
+1
Can you please tell me more about the Modular?
can you control the pan on certain parts? the hats are in the left channel and i hate that, is it possible to control that?
brin shut thats what individual outs are for. But yeah i suppose you could also mod it with a trimpot for panning i suppose. Or change the fixed value. I happen to really like the default panning of the 909, especially the toms. It's laid out like an actual drumkit off course.
great demo! where did you got this knob shafts? they look like the original ones
great drum programming- got some proper energy going on!
What's in the bag?
amazing. what a fucking mental set up and tune :)
thanx
Sounds great but out of stock :(
amazing demo!
did you have any problems building yours? I have an enclosure and pcbs sitting here but I see so many unresolved issues with it on the forums im a bit scared to attempt it
Which issues exactly? Any info? I am looking to get it.
Wow, looks and sounds awesome! Nice work!
What's better than a 909 ? A Nava :)
an ADX-1, a DRM1-MK3, an MS-20...
@@Shadow__Banned na no way the drm1 is so freaking harsh
@@Shadow__Banned vermona sucks.. i only like the kick XD
@@joseg.5167 you may, but the kick does not like you
@@Shadow__Banned my friend have vermona, is more minimal sound, i don't like ti hi hat clap its very strange, i mean 909 is more for techno
nice build!! what is the max. length of a pattern? how easy is it to chain patterns?
Did you experience any bugs with your unit yet? .
The Nava909 in the video is not mine. It's built by me but it's owned by a friend. I don't have it in my possession any more. So unfortunately I cant't answer that question.
Peter Kädergård Don't you talk to each other as friends? But since you both still seem to be friends everything should be fine with his Nava I guess... ;) I'll finish mine very soon and hopefully there won't be any bugs either.
Awesome. It sounds great.
If only I didn't suck at soldering. Got my Yocto prebuilt so I'm hoping to get a Nava as nice as this prebuilt as well. It sounds and looks fantastic!
beautiful work dude ! how many time you spend to build it ?
Didn't count exactly how long it took. But I guess approximately 60 hours.
sounds great !! can't wait to really start mine
