Does the mp exhaust kit preserve the original valve function in the exhaust?

Is this automatic or manual Transmission? And is the number of the performance silencer #339 or #340?

strange, when i try to entertain my gilfriend with that video in anticipation of my new exhausts...she's saying that's a men's thing...and i am not able to follow her...the only explanation to me is, that it is comparable to my opinion, that girls shouldn't be around with guys watching football. Hey - not with this setup. The mufflers are the typical cause of drone in aftermarket exhausts. The Performance Exhaust mufflers are same shape and have the connecting pipe between them. It's no more drone than stock.

@gargameel007 Yeah I would definitely, definitely test drive. With the M sport package, I think the new 5 series looks awesome and would drive one any day of the week. I don't like convertibles because they're so heavy, and therefore slower than the coupe by a noticeable amount.

@gargameel007 Thanks. If you're going to be taking 2+ passengers often then the 5 series might make more sense. The 335 will be sportier. Make sure you get the sport package with either car. The 3 series will be more tunable and there are more aftermarket parts for it. The 5 series has a better quality interior (the 3 is still nice). I'd test drive both of them.

@comacow02 Sure - there's no drone with this setup, the BMW PE prevents that. However it is louder for sure, if you lay on the gas in 5th/6th gear it gets a little loud in the cabin. But off the gas, this setup is nearly silent which is pretty impressive. And it definitely smells, pretty strong without the cats. Like a lawnmower. You can go catted downpipes but IMO they're a waste of money. Catless w/ the N54 should give you 20+HP.

@CharlesTK421 you too thank you for answering my question. one last thing i meant to ask. how is the noise in person? is there drone inside the car? and also is there a noticeable smell?

@comacow02 Yea it's not a bad exhaust by any means, the quality is top notch. The one I heard was just stock, nothing else. Yours probably sounds nicer, esp. with the intercooler. You're right that the N54 has much, much higher gains with tunes, so far I have not seen an N55 dyno past 360-370, whereas the same amount of money in an N54 = 400-420HP. @CharlesTK421 i already have the perf exhaust on my n54 and i like it alot actually. i have a jb4 and an intake and intercooler as well so maybe because the boost is cranked up it is louder/better sounding then what you may have heard. personally i like n54 alot better because we have the nice round mirrors and our engines are not valvetronic which means a tune like the jb4 will yield MUCH greater numbers. just my opinion tho.

@comacow02 Yeah I think the XI has the secondary cats, I could be mistaken. BTW - I wouldn't recommend the BMW PE for the N54, I have heard it next to mine... didn't sound good by comparison. Weak. Check out the Autobahn Exotics and Vanguard exhausts.

@comacow02 There are no secondary cats in the 335i N55, the only cat is in the stock downpipe.

what are you doing about your secondary cats? i heard if u go catless with out a catback exhaust aka bmw perf, they will burn out over time

The CLK GTR has the best jumping characteristics of any car in NFS HP2 so you can get maybe half as high as I did in some of these jumps. However you need to edit the game files in order to get this height. What I did was basically increase the underbody drag coefficient to like 13 - just google NFS HP2 cheats and it will show you how to edit the game files. Hope this helps - let me know if you need more help.
