Your dealer will work directly with our team to have trucks transported through our factory from Peterbilt or Kenworth. There is no additional cost for transportation for this modification. 8-26-2024 Split Window update. Peterbilt 589
Prototyping is in full gear. We are moving forward with permanent tooling on the window. The doors are in phase 1. Moving to phase 2. It might look great in the engineering teams office but when it hits the street look out for the FAN.

This is an Extended Cab option when you’re buying a new Peterbilt truck. We are the Up Fitter that does the work between the factory and the dealer. There is no added transportation cost. The warranty stays the same. The Cabs have been crash tested and are certified.

Exactly. Well there about to get a whole new Upholstery lay out. We will be doing a package with the split window Up Fit.
Looks great, keep up the good work. Make sure replacement windshields are fast and easy to order. The one piece stock windshields run and Crack alot more than the 2 piece ones. 579 replaced about 2 per year. 389 2 years running with original glass still.

I have 389s there's not that much difference plus I have multiple 567 that's all a 589 is a glorified 567
You do great work fit and finish is a 10 !!!!! And I don't know what it costs to get done ? But I'm 6'4 and pretty much just about every single truck that I get in day cab style/dump truck I find myself having to put the seat all of the way back and it's still not enough for me !! The decline all of the way back don't get it that being said do you can you actually do a true cab extension or is just the way this one is done just wondering because this is a big problem for alot of drivers thanks for your time

Nice unit, 'bout time somebody built a truck to fit a big guy. I'm a bit over 6'6" and 218lbs with a size 13.5 shoe, the wider cab is great, but for a taller guy the legroom is what really makes the difference. To this point the most roomy cab is a Western Star 49X, this 589 looks like it's at least as roomy as the Star.
@@thomaskirk9341 We just had a guy ask if we could do a 10” on a Western Star. This cab is way bigger. Both trucks were side by side and he is ordering a new 589 short hood from us. Building a dump truck. We won’t be doing any Western Star cabs.

Custom. Trucks ship directly from Peterbilt to us. We upfit them then ship them to the Dealer.

The company is running 4, 389 extended day cabs from the factory. All the drivers love them. That unit is no longer available, so not sure of the process to get 4, 567 extended cabs through DC.
