Good question! No I did not. USD was accepted as well as major cards. If you did pay in USD you would receive colones back- so I would say it’s not necessary to get them before you leave.

Hey thanks for watching! Can you be more specific? Like the EF trip as a whole or certain activities? I think the great thing about EF is you can pick and choose what you want to do based on your preference and comfortability and that kind of tailors the trip so everybody has an enjoyable experience so in that regard I would say yes- I also feel like I can’t fully speak to your question because I don’t have that personal experience and you deserve to hear from someone who does, but I hope this helps a little. I definitely would love to see more content on the trips around diverse body types. 💜
