LEVI & ALAMUTU Sale'imoa, situated on Upolu Island, 55km west of Apia, lost over 800 acres of farm and residential land following a Land & Title’s First Court boundary decision on September 15 2023.
The decision has had historically significant implications for over 51 families from both villages.
Their indigenous inheritance ‘Faasinomaga and Tofi’ passed down from their forefathers, for over 130 years, was stripped without the right to fair justice or proper legal representation.
