Totally agree. Each and every point is true. UK's weather, restricted health services, isolation and loneliness, food problems, cultural issues, lack of social support, high income tax and monthly council fee, Landlord contract issues, unavailable dates for driving trainers and difficult license process, overdue rules, regulations and restrictions on every thing you would desire makes it very very miserable and awful experience for a great no of people from the subcontinent. You can't even imagine that flow of life and flexibility which you are used to in your home country like India. India has a much greater market and opportunities for everything, yet it has its own complexities and complications. UK is never a place to settle for ever. Never ever !!!!(

I can agree with you as i have been to the Uk to visit my daughter who works there. All your points are correct. Life is not easy there. Living is obviously better as compared to India, but it comes with a huge price. Lots of hard work and sacrifices. Big chunk of your salary goes for taxes and huge amount goes for mortgage. In the end, you are hardly left with much money. It takes years to establish yourself in any foregn country. Everyone faces hard times and go through the struggles. And you have to do it all alone.

I've came to UK in oct2023 on student visa. I have never felt comfortable here. I have just survived coz I had to, but am I satisfied in living? No. Before coming to UK, i thought of bringing my family here, but i don't think my family would be comfortable. I think i'll go back to india after my masters without applying PSW.

I lived in uk from 1996 to 2021 and came back to live in pakistan. Same reasons made me leave and i didn't want to raise my children in uk because of the freedom and easy Access to alcohol, drugs and sex. Also i hated the LGBT they teaches the children in school from a very young age. Im glad im back in Pakistan. People in Pakistan always tell me i shouldnt have left because of the financial point of views but at the end of the day moral values are more important to me then money. I am Glad i left uk.
