Late to the party. Don’t know if you know this, seeing your several episodes in already. But you can build custom shops. Brings the game to the next level. Helps when starting out because you can just build the shop and then do a building later when you have more money. Also to add scenery around your Q lines, the guest will be more happy to have to wait. Keep it up.

As someone who grew up playing roller coaster tycoon this is a really fun game. The community around it is amazing with helpful and entertaining videos. Keep it up and enjoy the ride.

I'm enjoying watch you learn the game, I've been playing since Planco came out but I don't consider myself very good. The reason you don't see sand as a possible terrain paint is that you started this park using the Alpine biome and the game gives you preset terrains based on the biome. You can change your terrain paints if you open a game in scenario mode.

Gaining profit is always a problem 😂 i just recently started with vending machines and claw machines only and to keep the excitement up ive made a two story stack pathways to keep the fun compacted. Keep pushing it happy to see the progress!

Planet coaster isn't like rct 3, you cant just place attractions shops and make paths, your guest happiness will increase by the scenery you place, when you open the attraction menu you will find que scenery, everything you place in or around attraction or queline will increase this, That way more People will visit your attractions, People will wait longer withouth complaining, more People will visit your park, in the staff menu you van upgrade your staff, planet coaster works with a system where the more afford you put into your park, the overall happiness and the money People want to spend in your park will increase. If the experience in your park is to low for your guest, they will request a refund, destroying your economy;)

Reminds me of my first like... 3 years playing planet zoo 😅 id definitely say turn off the economics for now and just have fun, you can always revisit the challange modes when you get more comfortable with the mechanics! Loving the series so far either way!

Planet coaster is so fun. Another tip use the back arrow instead of deleting something you get full price of item back 😊

If you want to do some cool things with your rapid ride, poke around in the settings menu for the gameplay (can't exactly remember the titles of the tabs) but you can disable collisions of items with the ground etc. Rides, paths, it lets you do what you want, then it is just up to you to visually move the terrain with the tools if you care about realism, otherwise the ride camera will go through the ground no problem xD The flatten to foundation tool when set to a height with right click, and smoothing does wonders. There is always ctrl-Z to undo a giant hole if you mess up.

Planet coaster is an amazing game. And if you get into building things piece by piece. You can mame anything you can imagine. Only tip I would give so far is to use wider paths. The guests will fill those smaller paths fast. Then people will get stuck.

Nostalgia listening to the RCT and family computer bit, that was me and my brother for sure. Planet Coaster is 100% the spiritual successor to the last good RCT entry, which was 3, and also made by the same people, Frontier, which explains why it is so good in my eyes. As for 4:00 "Waiting Time" is in reference to how long the ride should wait to achieve the selected setting that is right above those boxes - 1/2, 3/4th, Full load etc. If the ride is set to Full load, it'll ignore them if the target is hit immediately. Typically, Minimum wait can be used for spacing if it is a vintage car ride / log flume / rapids etc, something with a bunch of vehicles, as long as it is not set it to Full because it'll ignore them and leave. Coasters have a separate Minimum Departure Interval setting too, but that's some more advanced junk. What you want is Full load, and a low Maximum waiting time (45-60s) in case your lines lose interest, so the ride won't wait forever with 1 lone guy on it. The minimum will be ignored due to the nature of Full Load, I often just untick the box. The maintenance thing is a myth, only age of the ride and excessive elements (brakes, chain hills, launches, etc) contribute to it breaking down. If it is breaking down too often, raise the inspection frequency, mechanics wander around like 90% of the time, they can use more workload. The queue time problem you can either a) give them more options and that complaint will go away as they filter into the park, or b) the last tab of the ride is the Sequence, change the animations, or remove some, then check the Duration under the results tab and lower it. Love watching people get into these games, also resparks my own interest.

Harry Potter, right? The magic begins now, so cool. The fun part about wizards...you create spells and can fly on a broom like witches. The movie 6 of harry Potter, never saw it but kinda sounds pretty nice. The first movie of harry Potter was better, the 3 headed dog
