The first encounter, Cataclysm, from the raid Root of Nightmares done Solo by me. This is the third time I have done this, but the first i have recorded. I want to make a Guide Analysis Video on this, so like and subscribe if you want to see that
Cheers! Just finished watching, here are some notes for you to help clean the encounter up a bit. 1. One thing that could help is switching to Transversive Steps since you'll move faster overall. The class item used here is okay, but you aren't ever going to have to kill that many enemies so it's not super needed. 2. Forerunner is really better than any sniper, but if you're going to use one Izanagi is probably the play. Succession is too awkward and takes too long to kill the tormentors, and I could tell it was making this more difficult. The alternative is always having nova on standby, but being able to set up and quickly kill tormentors with your gun is more ideal anyway. Riskrunner isn't needed either since you can have plenty of devour, hellion and tangles and all should keep you alive as long as you need. If you really have to stick with Succession, get one with Vorpal to make your life easier. 3. I prefer using Vortex Grenade; being able to weaken a Tormentor if needed is quite nice, but this one's up to you. 4. During your first node set: -When you went to the first node, you should have killed the psion beside it straight away then eagered back to the buff spot. -When you went to kill the first psion on the far right, using eager would have saved you some time. 5. Second set: -I wouldn't ever use a single needle on the Solar shield guys. Killing red bars will spawn in tangles that you can use to kill more enemies for Devour and walking space. -This set is the easiest to do and you should end up with the most spare time here. Before finishing the last node you may be able to weaken the tormentor just a bit, then finish nodes, then weaken it a bit more during the break period between set 2 and 3. Forerunner is a good weapon because when weakening the Tormentor for set 3, you can deal damage with it up close more easily than a sniper, and bait the Tormentor to slam at you, eagering away towards where set 4 is to then be clear to shoot more Forerunner at him. 6. Third set: -The Tormentor was low enough to be killed with sniper and not Nova. You were sitting at around 30 seconds when you killed it, which is plenty of time. If you run into a situation like that where you aren't quite sure, I would check first before committing to your super since you can always do your running quickly. -If the Tormentor runs away like that, I would suggest filling in a node or two real quick before going to get him. Having the nodes done will help you more than killing the Tormentor early, especially since you might encounter him along the way, in which case you aren't deviating from nodes to kill him really, saving you time. -After filling in the first node, I would have eagered back to the buff spot. Generally anywhere you can eager to save some time do it since it'll add up. The third set is the hardest to get used to, but flicking straight up for eager can generally help too. -The third set is where I like to pop my transcend since adds will cluster up on the hanging platform and around the node just to the left of the spawn buff point. I would have put a transcend nade right next to the second node you filled in since a bunch of adds were there, or else just a vortex if available, though here you were out of nade. -When going to the fourth node from that spot, taking the lower route and maybe throwing in an eager swing is going to be faster than jumping up and across then falling. -Good save on the final node, though here again Transversive Steps would be a big help. 7. Fourth set: -You made good time on killing the Tormentor at the beginning, but an eager swing back to buff spot would have saved a bit of time. -An eager swing to second node would have saved some time. -Jumping then eager swinging to get onto the lower platform on the building third node is on would have saved some time. -The time saves from previous points would have given you enough time to do the last few nodes before you would need another Tormentor. Ideally you do fourth set with only one Tormentor kill, but you already knew that. -After killing the second Tormentor, I would have just gone straight for the node and not worried so much about getting a Devour kill, especially since you had Riskrunner on. Most likely a nade would have killed something before you got to the node, or else you are probably going to get the health back from Release Recover. Off to a good start though!
bruh I'm so loud compared to you wtf
