I now live in mid wales and quite a few welsh people recognise the Accent from stoke .some of them have worked there or used firms for certain things .my neighbour used to get his clay from stoke for his little pottery shop in our village ..

I have visited St. Cyril and Methodius and the Museum that is in the crypt. Jan Kubis & Jozef Gabcik were 2 incredibly brave men. R.I.P. to those 2 Hero’s and their colleagues who died in the crypt that day. You will never be forgotten

Those dirty, rotten skunks the Nazis were who murdered the men in Lidice, then stole their wives and children to ship to Germany for slave labor. As if all of that were not enough, the Nazis in power had the graves looted of any and all gold teeth, jewelry, and any other valuables buried with the bodies. Those greedy leeches. May their names go down in infamy, reproach, and utter shame for all time on earth. Rest in peace, O victims of the Holocaust.

In one article I read, the orders also covered bulldozing the buildings, removing all debris, bulldozing the topsoil and rerouting the local creek so that no one could go behind them and use the land to grow crops. Wonder if any of the surviving children ever went back to the new town to live?
