Hey can you pls tell me your opinion on the vw Passat 2.5 in terms of reliability and maintenance cost ?

There was a time when you could just pull off the inside cover and then twist the bulb holder without having to take the entire assembly off. A quick simple 2 minute job. Now they are designed so if you do go to the dealer they will charge an hours shop time labour to replace a one dollar bulb. Cars designed for the dealer service department to make lots of money.

I tried and tried several times to install sun visor clip I ordered on eBay just like you showed towards the end of your video but I just couldn’t get the last part to snap back in. What I did was remove metal clip and used two screws to hold first part in place. The visor clips right in and I don’t have to worry about hooks breaking again😅 It looks a little odd without the cover but not a big deal😊

Does anyone make a protective plug for the body side camera wiring if one wants to run without the tailgate for awhile?

thanks for this made it super easy in the end, just a tip, when plugging back in I would turn off the power and make sure the circuit isn't live, it could spark/surge and blow the new bulb again.

welcome to the truck bike mafia, bro. make that thing your own! if you find something useful or fun to stick on there, just do it driving a cargo bike myself practically every day (a radwagon 4), i can highly recommend a bigger bell, and/or a good old ball horn. it's a huge quality of life and good vibes feature. both cut through traffic noise MUCH better and further than that flimsy little "ting", because of the deeper and louder sound. (and having to yell "WATCH OUT", if the bell doesnt work, is awkward and bad style) and an old school horn just makes folks smile, while instantly grabbing attention and politely alerting them of your desire to pass by. win/win! =) pro tip: attaching those gardening kneeling pads to the passenger seat(s) with self adhesive velcro makes them a LOT more comfortable and less slippery, for just a few bucks. your kids will thank me for this one. (i got a little cooler bag, a bluetooth speaker, a power converter and a deafening little truck horn on mine, plus ~10 gallons of saddle bags, due to the lack of a front bucket)

Install a flag on a front to increase your visibility. When riding near obstacles noone will expect your bike dimensions. Note that most bike trailers have a red flag installed.
