Pokemon is a p2w game. Ask gamefreak to fix their shit. Genning or hacked mons aren't a big deal. It just saves time and money instead of filling a greedy companies pocket. Some people in this comment section are just being silly, claiming wolfe is “cheating”. Let me dumb it down for those that dont understand common sense; the pokemon they use are specifically designed to cater to what they need to achieve on their team, whether they need a specific speed stat to outspeed a certain pokemon, or if they need ivs to be generally focused on stronger aspects of the pokemon theyre using. Whether its a pokemon they bred themselves or even if it is a genned pokemon, some people dont understand the work that still goes behind the building of a competitive team, as one single stat point can make all the difference. But people who spend hours getting a pokemon, like bloodmoon ursaluna or a legendary with specific ivs only to find its not possible, congrats you wasted a lot of time. Genning pokemon isnt illegal nor is it a bad thing, not really. If they need a pokemon to cater to their team and need rlly specific stats then yeah they can gen them, but that doesnt make them “hacked”. If a pokemon were “hacked” it would have moves or stats impossible for that pokemon to have, but since theyre technically not hacking the pokemon in the game these players arent doing anything wrong. No one will ever complain “oh theyre using genned pokemon thats cheating”, its really not; cheating is trying to gain an unfair advantage, in what way are any players here in the vgc gaining an unfair advantage? Theyre making strategies and teams that can possibly give them the edge, like the ursaluna fire orb guts build. But that doesnt give them an unfair advantage, regardless of whether or not theyre genned, its how the pokemon are built and used that matters. One wrong move or to reiterate a single stat point can make a difference. To those making an issue of it, get a grip and grow up, reeducate yourself in competitive pokemon vgc, cause from where i stand, nothing illegal or unfair is happening here
