Evolve es una canción con un ritmo intenso, con mucho vértigo que me parece que caería bien en una película donde haya una carrera o una persecución en motos o F1 o alguien deslizándose a gran velocidad por una ladera de tierra (mounthing bike o esquíes), o algo similar. Saludos!

Are you insinuating because Stevie sounded like Janis, Or Beyonce sort of sounded like her mother Tina Lawson, are we insinuating that they are not themselves because they were influenced by others. I do have one criticism of this review... Twice you asked your guest his opinion on the video, and then you and the other guy talked over it and never gave him a chance to air his comments... You really need to give him a chance to respond, he tried... but you never gave him room.

I love the Doors comment. I have often made similar comparisons... my family loves 60's and 70's music, and I'm not as big of a fan,---don't hate, just prefer the 80's and 90's much more---the Doors is one of the exceptions, and I think the fact that Danzig reminds me of the Doors might have something to do with that.

Personally this has always been my favorite song by Danzig. I just like the entire artistry of it more than Mother (which is also great)

I thing they are talking about AI. The error inside for me represents like a virus that may destroy the mankind if it is granted control. The AI is narrating the song to the human kind and warning about the risk of granting control.

The Warning is not the Brady Bunch, and “Queen of the Murder Scene” is definitely not Disney Channel material, but if they wanted to make a wholesome family movie about a hard rock band, this is the band they’d use. No drugs, no drama, no cheesecake, one song with an explicit lyrics notice out of about sixty… 9:07 I think it’s really simple. They love what they do, and the audience can tell.

You know, imo I think that The Warning's evolution is similar to how Metallica became the band they are. I think that Evolve really defines their way and it is almost like Master of Puppets putting everyone on notice that they are going to kick your ass and they are going to best the best one day. I believe they will be if they stay true to themselves.

Two years later and I really enjoyed this reaction - and this was a performance of Evolve that I had not watched before so that was something, too. Since you did this reaction, The Warning performed "Evolve" on the MTV VMAs. I know you already reacted to the song, but you should at least check it out. If you thought the scream was impressive in this version, just you wait. And being the VMAs, their stage presence is off this planet. By the time of this comment, they released their FOURTH studio album. There are also a large number of videos of live performances. One of them is the Aug 29, 2022, performance in Mexico City which is absolutely incredible.

I know this is 2 years old and you have probably seen it by now, but The Warning got big by there cover of Enter Sandman being released. Alejandra was 11 I think. She's the youngest of the band and Danelle is the oldest.

The song is from the point of view of a sentient AI talking to its creator.

Basically they are saying---"F**k the algorithm and those using it to brainwash us

Ale (bass) took the low vocal notes on the "Let me drown" and Dany (guitar/lead vox) takes the higher more ethereal reverb vocal. It is a gorgeous blend. The Warning's harmonies are already legendary and there are so many examples of this across all of their records including the up coming 4th record Keep Me Fed due June 28th 2024. David Bendeth produced their album Error from which this song is from. The guy is a genius and how could capture the girls so well. As a musician of more than 40 years, I do feel that a solo at the end would have been overkill. Too many bands I feel ruin songs with too many embellishments and overplaying. The Warning are straight and to the point lyrically and musically. We've already had the shredders (EVH, George Lynch, John Pettrucci, Steve Vai, Satch, Yngwie, Randy Rhoads, etc), Dany can shred (just watch her perform Atlas Arise), but she doesn't need to. If a song calls for a solo one is added. If it doesn't need it then it won't. That's the beauty of how these girls write. Hammett in my view over uses wah but he loves it. In many songs of Metallica's it's cool, but others it's like just stop already.

Drinking some whiskey after mowing the lawn and saw this (fell down TWA a couple of weeks ago... I'll see them live in October) and thank you for this reaction. I feel validated. I'm not alone.
