I’m currently trackside (mainly to catch 1967, 1869, 9776, (maybe) 1066 but I caught three trains in a row -5 minutes between each other (I165, (I think) I157, and a local? (L158 was the symbol I think)(correction: L358)
@@clevelandarearailfan 9776 looks like it won't be here till very late night, like some point after midnight, cause it was just at Elkhart, IN. You gonna be out after 11pm?
@@RailfanKnexified I have to be home before 10 because to pick my dad up from work but I might be able to catch 1967 and maybe 1869 (also maybe 1066 if it’s on 316)
@@clevelandarearailfan Ok, cause I don't think 1066 is on 316 tonight, but there's a chance it may be tomorrow. But I'd say 1967's a chance. 1869 looks like it'll be here after 10

@@JaxonB-Railfanning Lite power? I've seen a short string of 4-axle locomotives pass me, but never have I seen just 2 GEVO's. Might have been an empty local that passes by here. I saw what I believe was L358 20mph past me yesterday with a red over yellow over red indication. Crossed over to NC (north control) siding

I was at Lloyd after stopping at the store, for bNSf 315, before that, there was a false activation on CSX (was no train in sight) also the green that we had before you left, was a I009 (nothing special)

I caught THE first CPKC paint scheme/ first one to travel on the EWS (9375) on I165 (very late due to a crew replacement/ temporary tie down in Erie PA)
@@clevelandarearailfan I did see that. If there was other reports before yours that it was nearby, I may have gotten to see it, but chances of that were slim, and idk how well my camera picks up in the dark sky with no streetlights, but my car lights

@@clevelandarearailfan Yeah and I think by the time you were gonna warn me, the 781 was already there. Was kinda hoping for a meet. I originally thought it was M565 and wasn't expecting 421 to pass
@@RailfanKnexified it might’ve been only 421 that was (likely) rerouted because 124 was on 422 and hasn’t been reported since Virginia (last reported in Buffalo as of now)
Maybe it was only for yesterday for some reason
If I (or you) see 421 more during future visits to the tracks, it would probably mean it’s a permanent reroute

That track is rated for 79 MPH passenger trains and 60 mph freight, but it looked like it was going a little faster than 60
@@ocsrc I do know that. The other side (going eastbound) had 70 max for Amtrak for some reason. My guess is that it's a bit more densely populated after Painesville? Then again I could be wrong
The thumbnail looks like the Reading Signals We still have them here in eastern Pennsylvania. They are turned sideways but they are still here.
@@ocsrc Those are also called "Bowling Ball" signals. I've seen some used around Ohio (I think) and other states as well
Painesville mentioned? Take a trip a few miles down the line and you'll see a new high bridge - last time I was up there they were replacing the old trestle.

all those ties were pulled up from the old siding that was there, there was a switch off to an industry across Storrs st to where the public works garage is now. you can still feel the rails in the road that are still there. I want to say they did this back in 2007-2009.
