This is a great leap forward, but, it will be 300k+ - what I want to see is an electric propulsion package for a Cessna 150 / 172 / 206 / 210 or an experimental like an RV-4. Lycoming engines are deathtraps that can crap out any time leaving the pilot / owner either dead or out of aviation. 30k for an air cooled engine that had a mandatory rebuilt at 2000 hours? Hog wash!~ my 84 volvo w/320 miles, has never NEVER failed to deliver. These people are wonderful and more power to them. What we lower altitude folks need is a replacement for the status quo Lycoming.

Aircraft is beautiful and very much excited to see this company thrive and expand. That being said, can we also recognize how the narrative can be easily seen as a very polished way of saying "hi, I am a control freak and likely micromanager who has trust issues" ? Again this doesn't take away for this beautiful aircraft and the mission, simply a possible red flag that could crack the foundation.

Do not seems viable to me.... Electric planes needs to wait for batteries improvement, they still have a weak energy density and the ones that got an acceptable one..have their chemistry pretty dangerous.

Bad spot for the prop. ...not gonna last long there. If you don't prang it on an over rotation or flair.. the fod from the gear directly in front surely will.

The flight video is soo slick that it looks fake. Both the camera following along the right side, and the video from the right side of the cockpit. Did this flight really happen?

There sure are a lot of people wasting time and huge amounts of money on electric aircraft. And these people are smart enough to build these things but not smart enough to know they will never be worth sh!t. So it will fly 3 miles? And in 50 years they get to 10 miles? NONSENSE!

There are risks but I think y'all trust your team very well. Test flights over residential areas?

The day they find a sistem in which the battery pack can be drain first and drop mid flight,Ukranian is doing it with drones, so the battery will be like a autonomous drone,planes use a lot of F energy for climbing, so for the rest of the flight you don't carry dead weight.
