We would have liked to test everything individually, but we only had one day to film.

Think you lost all credit the moement you removed that engine mount... without explanation of reasoning.
@@vasili1207 we found the clutch pedal felt mushy and imprecise. It felt like it had a racing clutch from the way the pedal moved but didn’t actually function like a racing clutch. The gearshift was also notchy and vague. The car felt so much better to drive and like a brand new car with a standard rubber mount in there. The mount we took off was showing signs of wear so it may have been down to that but the results speak for themselves.

You took out a airtec torque mount and replaced it with a standard 🥴
I always thought the oem suspension was great with its torque steer and lift off over steer my negative would be the bump steer but I’m pretty much rebuilding my st now too haha 10y old so needs tlc

Sporty sound? The backbox sounds just like a stock if not more quiet. Got the same in my car. Its sheet
It's coked up a fair bit since we made the video, so has a deeper sound, and pops on upshift.
Should it not have had the coolant recall done as its a 2014 model? Mines 2014 and it was called for it.
I bought my 63 plate ST-2 back in 2018 and had it up till late 2023 (sold it to my brother). Took it from 50k to just over 100k. Left it standard but did wear and tear items of course including shocks and springs at 100k. The old shocks weren't weeping but they felt harsher than usual so that was one of the best feeling fixes I did on the car (I opted for oe ford st ones again). So all in all great cars in my experience. Oh and I moved onto a pfl MK3 focus st if you're interested. It's good fun😁
Nice video and looking forward to seeing your project develop. My 14 plate is going to H-Sport in a few weeks for it's cambelt and water pump change (+engine health check) so looking forward to meeting the team there.
H-Sport are great, used them a few times now. You should perhaps use their cambelt/waterpump promo. Your car is 10 years old this year according to the 14 reg, so probably a good time to have it done.
H sport are outstanding! I am desperate to get my ST up to them for a full stage 3 upgrade with LSD etc. won’t be going anywhere else ✨👌

Probably the best hot hatch you can buy! More potential than any other, literally the best 1.6 engine ever made. I just hate the style/look, only reason I will never upgrade from my Mk6 ST150 ❤

Interesting you find the exhaust drones badly, I just bought one with a milltek and it’s a great exhaust. Noise tested it was 85db at 4.5k as well but I do have a stock cat
We totally agree, Milltek make great exhausts but it’s not a typical Milltek configuration that’s fitted to our car as you’ll see in the next video which should be out later this week…
