The tone is really close to the original. A little blonde girl named Anna Cara does a Live Wire cover that is so perfect I about schitt. I started playing in 1985 when I was as 15. Shout At The Devil was only a couple years old. Mick' sound blew me away. The Live Wire tone just wiped me. After 30+ years of playing, I have never been able to re-create that tone so accurately. Close, but never close enough. I always used multi effects processors. Zoom GFX8 (favorite) or Boss ME70 through a Marshall 50w JCM900 2500 HiGain Master Volume and 1960 A&B cabs. Never used rack mount or computer effects. When I heard this girls cover, I couldn't believe it. Most accurate I've ever heard. She does several Crue songs. She plays a badass guitar in that vid too.

@@Winter-Disharmony you need to pick the string on the fret and follow after the pick with your thumb you need a good amount of distortion for it to work my advice would be look it up on youtube
