Welcome! Adam & Lorna here, we wanted to document and share all the fun we plan to have at theme parks and chasing those coaster credits!
Lorna especially is a newbie to the theme park world, having only started riding rollercoasters in Summer 2023 but has already braved most of what the UK has to offer.
2024 she will be taking on;
Oblivion and Nemesis Reborn at Alton Towers
The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Stealth and Hyperia at Thorpe Park
This is our first attempt at doing Vlogs or videos etc so we will do our best :D

So this was our first attempt at filming a video/vlog, please excuse the poor camera work etc, my hand/eye coordination is not the best, but practice makes perfect So today we’re were lucky to get 2 tickets to the Thorpe Park pre season behind the scenes tour, seeing the Sparkle project, and of course Hyperia in all its glory 😍

I can't believe how quiet your visit was. We are planning to visit Alton Towers this year as we havent been since the the 90's when the queue for Nemesis on a snowy november day was 4 hours!! The park looks quite tired compared to Thorpe Park by the looks of it but that may be because its a rainy day on your video (until it brightens up at the end :) )
Yeah the rain may have put people off but was really quiet, nemesis was walk on all day apart from the power cut part when most other rides were closed. Yeah it was hard to judge between the rain but the sparkle treatment Thorpe has had towers really needs I think. It’s defo worth a visit though as found the rides are still spot on 😊
@@CoupleCoasterQuest I'll go regardless as I need to use that annual pass :). It's funny because Alton towers used to be the premiere park

I went on this last week and was gutted to see that they weren't allowing you to queue for the front row seat.
Yeh hopefully they open that up next year, what you think of the coaster?
@@CoupleCoasterQuest we ended up sitting one seat from the back and me and Mrs dirkles thought it was quite bumpy for a new ride. It was especially noticeable as prior to this we had ridden the swarm which is silky smooth. However, it wasn't as bumpy as SAW, which is unrideable imo. I did enjoy the large amount of weightlessness which was a totally new thing to us. Weirdly, I spent most of the ride worried about how my boots felt like they were falling off haha. Oh and the burger king meal in the queue before the ride is not recommended.
@@MrDirkles agreed on the food lol, I noticed a slight wobble on rows 8 & 9 but 1 & 2 are glass smooth, yeh SAW I only do once if that and didn’t this time, the rattle ruins the layout. The airtime is like nothing else though on Hyperia, best feeling
