Superparent. Thank you for this content!
This was so amazing, thabk you so much for sharing 🙏🏿 Abena, your outfit; the colors blending in with your braids, make up, and even the background... Everything was so on point ❤
''Leave her alone she's mine'', that's the voice of my husband in the background. 😆😅🤣 Thank you sis I appreciate your kind compliments. 😍
Oh my goodness! Implementing some of these boundaries in certain African societies and spaces has made us lose friends and even family members who think they can just bombard their way into yours just because. It's tough!
Most definitely it can be tough but a much needed exercise for growth and establishing you intentional progress. Well done on you for doing what's needed without compromise. Those are understand would also be attracted and you'll create your tribe. 🙌🏿💛
Powerful! Andrea knows her stuff, I'm hooked now. I'm gonna binge-watch the entire series ❤
Glad you are gaining value from it. 😍😍😍 Kindly share with other like-minded aspiring parents.
Blacknificent. Asante Sana Okunini Obadele Kambon❤️🖤💚
💕Big turn out, awesome vibe we missed out what a year 2023 was! Ultimately the best is yet to come. 💥💥💥💥💥🆙🆙🆙🚀 New levels
We totally agree! 2024 will be great for the village.
Loving this! indeed. Great year . New levels. Onwards and upwards from here. The parenting life pushes and pulls the most, getting us stronger mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Making deliberate and consistent intentional action to create our ideal life. We need to be physically fit and healthy to have the energy to see this through. Sleep well, eat smart, enrich your environment and relationships with wellbeing at the center of it all. Happy first weekend of 2024!!!
Thinking about all of it and holistically self-improving can seem daunting to many, but it can be done step by step, before you know it you're at the top of the mountain. We have to provide the guide and support. That's the SUPERPARENT challenge let's do it! 💫
This podcast makes me more aware of how much I’ve been parenting with extrinsic motivation rewards and punishments. I’m entering a new year, with intentional parenting. After listening to this episode. 0:07 I’m now focusing on building her up with intrinsic motivation skills and hobbies.
Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome watching this! Great to know where I am in the grand scheme of parenting. I stopped journaling my daughters developments but time to re start again. Thanks Andrea! APV empowered 🚀💥💥💥💥💥
You got this! Its always great to.self assessment so you and only you can check your rear view. Kindly share and let's teach and share with parents, how to fish instead of being handed out fish.
Wow power packed info, thanks for breaking it down for us, very clear steps to follow. Love it. ❤❤❤❤
Why is this lady pushing toxic western ideology in Ghana. Why is she saying that we should put our parents in nursing home because it’s good business, because it has good economic outlook. Putting your parents in a nursing home in not Ghanaian culture and it’s definitely not an African culture. There is proverb in Ghana that says “As your parents took care of you when your teeth was coming in, also take care of your parents when their teeth are coming out.” As Ghanaians, we don’t throw our parents out like trash in a nursing home, or in an old peoples homes; that’s Western culture and it will never work in Ghana. Because we respect our elders, we cherish our elders, we look to our elders to pass on their wisdom to the young ones in the community. Why is this lady saying we should get rid of compound housing living settings. Compound housing bring extended families together; it strengthens the families and the community; it protects the family and community. And even if the children are not there to take care of the parents for some odd reasons, there are people in the compound community who will willingly step in to take care the parents. Western ideologies have destroyed African traditions and culture. So, lady take your destructive toxic western ideology back to Europe and leave it there. We don’t need it in Ghana. Black men, Ghanaian men run 🏃♂️ away, run 🏃♂️ far away from females like this lady.
Black men, whenever you see a black women with a septum ring ( piercing between the nostril), run 🏃♂️, run far away. I’ve noticed black women who wear septum ring be dabbling in feminism, lesbianism, sleeping with white men. Even though she’s covered up with African attire, it’s just a custom, she’s not real, she’s a fake pro-black woman, she’s a fake Pan-Africanist. In the early 2000’s I used to see only white women with septum ring in college; but now I see mostly black women with it. It’s really weird. Black women who usually wear this septum ring have like this western hippie culture with a weird mixture of western feminism, lesbianism, s3xing and marrying white men. And I’ve noticed that it is slowly creeping into Ghana. Again Ghanaian men, black men run away, run far away when you see a woman like her.
love this !!

Wonderful Video. Miss you guys and the memories of us teaching our kids our languages in London. God bless you guys 🇬🇭 enjoy the Asantehene roots ❤
Thanks for comment! We sure do... Working with polyglot like yourself was great! We still remember our crash course Hausa and put it to good use here.
LMAO, this is some funny stuff right here. It's pretty obvious that these geniuses don't realize how much most TRUE africans despise and even hate so called "african Americans". In fact, there's a good chance the africans would probably attempt to sell them to us as slaves. You know, like they did 200 or so years ago. But hey, If they want to go to africa I have no doubt that they could easily find the funds to go there. I know I would donate to a good cause like that. Buh-bye now .
Scott Adams is right. All black people should live in Africa, but they keep migrating out, even after the trans atlantic slave trade, which the Europeans copied from the African/Arab slave trade. Slavery still exists in Africa by other Africans, just leave them alone, let them have the industrial eveolution and join the rest of society.
Thanks for your comment.
Omg this really touched me. I loss my daughter Dec. 2021 due to sickle cell. This grief journey has been difficult

Please glad you found it interesting😍 what was your biggest take away?
@@DestinationAfricaGroupTV The fact that He followed his heart and is succeeding. This is an issue in Africa, Most parents wants us following their footsteps not thinking of what we actually want to do

So true... But don't forget that Africa has people 2...And most of the time the ones (blacks) who come instead of work together with d locals they're looking for advantages. That can free them and enslave d locals as once happened in Liberia.
People return to the continent of Africa for many reasons, yes they are looking for opportunities, but attempting to enslave their own isn't really on returnees' mind. In our experience they mainly attempt to improve things by developing businesses and creating opportunities for themselves and in turn their local brothers and sisters. Thanks for your comment 💛
❤❤❤
💕💕💕💕
Awesome work here. Nice to be reminded of these 8 points. Making sure they are eating healthily when left with family members who want to “spoil” your daughter not knowing the adverse effects of eating junk before dishing out wholesome food.
Thank you and we're glad you enjoyed video. What strategies have you come up with to navigate these sort of situations 😁?
Beautiful 😂❤love this episode.

It was sooo much fun filming you guys, seeing Dad work so close with you to fulfill your ambition almost brought tears to our eyes, even though he didn't know his African flags we still love and #SaluteBigPops! ❤✊😍🤩
Well said!! Agreed, love and education begins in the home. I think it should always be a conversation between parents and children.💖👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You're so right Sis. The more we realise this, the easier it will be for us to give our children a strong identity. Love your comment!!❤️
