Hi. Yeeeesss why do people call very large projects “big girls”. Why use the word girl? Why is a “ biiiiggg girl” something abnormal/ something to point and stare at ? Can we please stop saying that It triggers me too. Oh same goes for “little guy”

I was thinking of making a trip up that way this summer. I have been to Lynn’s last summer but not Country Samplers or Witchery Stitchery…never heard of that one. (Where is it at?) I assume you’d recommend them? I am in DeKalb, IL, and a teacher by day so I have time in summer to drive during the week and get places I normally wouldn’t be able to. Any other suggestions? Thanks for all the great projects you do. It’s so nice to see them in person. So many I would never want to do looking at the chart cover but then you show them and I am like, sign me up! I have to do that one!!!😂

What I am about to say is very controversial but hear me out....If women have been known to pick out the date of a sampler to hide their age (which is a lie, tbh); then doesn't it follow that some lie about when they stitched it? I am a well educated history buff who has read a lot of historical romance (trashy and otherwise) so I know that life was different for young girls back then but I contend that some of these little girl maybe started at 7 but.... I'm just sayin'. I'm just sayin'. 🙌🙌

This was fun.. except for the part where I'm watching this at work and can't go play in my stash until after 5pm lol. I refuse to think of how much of an investment I have tied up in my kitted projects that I haven't started. I've always said it's my retirement stitching "nest egg"! 🪡👠

Your kit parades make me so happy! I’m starting to toy with the idea of pulling out the floss from my kits, keeping them on the ring and marking where they belong and putting on pegboard. Very happy to have found you - thanks to the mention by Laura and Brenda🎉 I was able to watch your whole series on the long drive to and from NY back home to WNC. LOVED every minute💕👏😍 One question: would you feel comfortable letting me know about the group working on the sewing roll by Dawn Ronnigen? I bought two of her sewing roll charts, but am lost😵💫.
