In this game, I imagine you already know the teams to choose are 2 characters. When you choose your main character, the other character that you didn't choose sits down at the bottom, collecting "spirits", which are the little circles with a orange dot in the middle. At the side, you can see a jar that constantly gets filled up. When the jar fills up, it'll give the main character that you're using a brief boost, before you have to collect the "spirits" all over again. Hope this helped you to somewhat understand RMI. ♡

(btw, they can collect powerups too, since in this game you can switch characters while playing by bombing or flashbombing, except if you disable that option.)

@@incerabbit well, I guess you can really say that Mamizou is balanced towards punishing those, who go for boss attacks first, just as Marisa, so she does incredibly well against computer AI I'm not sure if that's still the case in online VS mode though

@@hawkin_gaming To answer how it is in PvP, You want boss early either way in PvP. The only character that gets punished by sending a boss was Orin in very specific cases in v1.00, in v1.10 that’s not even true anymore. A lot of matches relies on you leveling your boss to be good consistent pressure while chaning for big attacks to be the final nail in the coffin. You do not kill a player with simple c3 spam. Mamizou’s c3 at level 8 now has ~87% more enemies so she is pretty strong this patch either way and could maybe kill a player with spam but chaining and leveling boss is still very much advised

@@SolAyanami no, at least not that we know of You would have to chain spirits for that to happen which is risky because it can crash the game and the AI could send it back to you
