Today we see more from Elihu and his continued discourse on what he feels is Job’s refusal to repent. He asserts that is why God is so distant and that God isn’t always going to answer you on your terms. In this aspect, Elihu is correct, that’s not always how God works.

I’ve never subscribed to the “this is how God views the church” concept. It’s one of the many reasons I personally disavow the Passion Translation. I think segments like “don’t awaken love until it is ready” speaks to the theory of it being a model for romance in Christianity.
Very very much agreed & well said! Couldn’t agree more about certain translations and how careful we should be to not play fast and loose with God’s Word. If it was written via the Holy Spirit we should be very careful with what we do with those words.
“Don’t give me too much and don’t give me to little” was missed by me on my last read through of Proverbs thank you for bringing it to my attention . I’m sure that buddy of yours appreciated the wisdom 😂!

@@RatchunksI think as Christians, specifically in western countries we have this romanticized idea of Tibetan Monk style poverty, secluding ourselves from life and living a minimalist lifestyle . I think proverbs disproves this. We are called to positions of leadership and influence as referenced by the elder husband in proverbs 31. This verse sheds light on how we ought to live with money being a secondary if not tertiary if not nonexistent desire. But not to live completely without it.

Wow that's amazing! Was it fun playing through the game afterwards? Could you beat any bosses or enemies you're not supposed to?
It was definitely fun playing through after and great to now have a save that I legit grinded out… I knew that it was going to take a long time and I had fun doing it but it isn’t worth being that OP in this game. It’s easy to be overpowered early on without putting a FRACTION of the time in that I did but again it was more about the actual journey. As far as bosses, no sadly. There aren’t any unkillable bosses that you can wipe the floor with. You basically just end up one slashing most of the disk one bosses as is. I always get Beta from the Midgar Zolom the second I can and that achieves pretty much the same lv of OP. So this just isn’t for much more than novelty, really. Thanks for asking, blue!
