Просмотров 1052 года назад
"On Monday, Jan 17, Xuna Hu, a Chinese immigrant and Springfield resident, said she was shopping at the Lowe’s store on Wabash Avenue when a woman told her to go back to her country. Hu says she was trying to buy two fire pits. She says she was waiting for family to help lift the heavy products when another store customer began to verbally attack her with racist remarks after Hu wouldn’t give h...

What a legend❤️ lost the match yet won in so many other ways✨

I need loudspeakers in my car so I can play this song
God bless these athletes. This is character and grace.
I hope college programs see this young man in blue and provide a 4 year scholarship. Your parents are proud of you. Much happiness for the boy in red.
Anyone who votes for Kamala
The new Texas National Anthem
Ah. 😊 my theme song 😁
100% sportsmanship!!!!!
My heart is about to explode
I cryed God bless them both
Well done, both of you. Good match played with true sportsmanship.
This kid in blue show the outmost heart and compassion than I see in a long time and the kid in red will remember that forever.
I can’t stop my tears. This is why I love America.
This is showing incredible sportsmanship but everyone to expect the kid in blue to purposely lose 😮is just wrong and everyone knows it especially the kid in red
Come on kid play along.
Shit. Now I’m crying. Glad this popped up!
If all people were like this we wouldn’t have any issues in the world like Jesus said love your neighbor just like you love yourself ❤
Young man in blue, you're a legend.
Having competed in sports when I was young, I was conflicted when I saw this video. So, I asked my cousin, who also used to compete in sports but due to an accident is now disabled, what he thought about it. He said, although the intentions of the people seemed noble, he doesn't believe it was the appropriate thing to do. And here are his reasons: (and he uses disabled and not some PC word because he believes that that's the most real descriptive word that fits...he doesn't have all the abilities the average person has) 1) Most disabled people that he knows want to be treated just like everyone else, with kindness and respect, but not given the going-way-beyond-being-nice special treatment that makes them look like they can't do anything by themselves. He thinks that giving this kind of special treatment is the case here. 2) He believes that this match should have never happened in a competition-type event. Close to similar levels of capability should have been sought so one competitor was not way unfairly stronger than the other (or else it's not really a competition). It's like having a superheavyweight boxer fighting a strawweight. It was unfair to both wrestlers because for the disabled wrestler the win was a hollow victory since it was basically fixed for his benefit, and for the other it took away the true meaning of competitive sports. It was charity not competition. 3) He also believes that this is sending the wrong messages about competition. It is saying that it is more important to win even though you really did not earn or deserve it (your opponent did not give you his best and even helped you win). It is also saying that not giving your best and losing is okay just as long as you are being nice and making your opponent feel good. In true competition, the greatest gift you could give yourself and your opponent is giving him the best effort and the best of your abilities to beat him, regardless of whether you win or lose. Maybe because of my cousin's explanation, and because he and I used to be in competitive sports, that I now am not conflicted, and see things the way he does about this match. If this match was not done during a competitive event, we're fine with it. But this looks like it was made to look like a it was in a competitive event for the benefit of one competitor, when it really is not a competition.
That kid in blue is a hero without a cape. He was raised to know that there is more to life than taking the easy win. He could have slammed the kid in red and won in a couple of seconds but he chose to be a brilliant human being and be a role model for millions of others. I hope he has an amazing life.
My Granddaughter has C.P. and I'm so proud of both of these guys. This is God in action.
They r both winners ❤🎉
Shows there is some good left in the world
THAT, is sport.
Thats a damn patriot right there boy!
Well-done young lad in blue, and well done lad in red super .
I sent this my dad The first prostate exam he did not that humorous 😂
I can tell by the crowd the boy in red has alot of fans and friends. The young man in blue is a awesome young man. The parents of these two boy im sure are very proud of them . Awesome awesome awesome 👌
Both boys are beautifully inspiring. In blue for compassion and humility but the boy in red because he never gives up his appreciation for life even when things don’t work like we want them to!
I just saw a reel of this on Instagram and came here to find the whole thing because it cut off mid-sentence and I was like "Aww come on!!" This is amazing to me, cuz I may not have cerebral palsy, but i AM disabled and I know someone with a heartbreaking case of it. And I think it's so easy for someone to go up against a disabled kid and, either take advantage of that (which I hope is a rare thing) or do something to make the disabled kid win by just getting it out of the way quickly. And the latter might sound respectful, but to me it could feel like something out of pity, which i would never want. And this kid doesn't do that. He goes in and he lets the match go on long enough for both of them to have a fair fight and to let the disabled kid out some effort so he can feel like he earns the win. And this is very sweet, that when he decides to end the match, he helps him get into a position where he can hold him down, and leads him back to the side safe and sound. Kudos to these schools for giving disabled students a chance and for having such humble good sportsmen

He looks like a euphorua ragdoll. It looks difficult to simply stand for him. Least he can do what he wants to do
Send this song to someone who supports Trump It describes Trump and his supporters well
Bro why are you getting political over a satirical song
Raised right
this is pathetic, giving a disabled person a win just for a ''feel good' is actually very insulting to disabled people, it is fake, its not genuine and it does not give dignity to a disabled person; it also means that it normal and ok to lower the bar and have very low to zero expectations of a person, that they just might have a skill or potential that they can be genuinely good at, sports, art, music, or whatever. how about supporting disabled people to explore and try things, yes, and also if they have a strong interest in something, help them learn skills and develop real talent and skill that is worthy of praise, and not a fake fantasy that is put on just for a cheap ''feel-good''. this crap goes on constantly meanwhile we do have disabled folks who actually have legit skills and talents, and they do not usually get taken with any sort of seriousness or sincerely when they want to show it and use it. giving people fake praise for something they did not do well, or are not capable of actually hurt them in the long run, and it harms a persons ability to be presumed competent or taken seriously in general when the person basically is taught to live in fantasy world. this is coming from 20 years of working in adult DD social services and advocacy systems talking here.
Me when I saw a dumb comment
Hats off to the boy in blue for not going down right away and letting the boy in red demonstrate all his moves and training. Class act!
