Franks Garage
Добавлен 11 ноя 2013
Franks garage,my son’s idea.
Its what i do, i fix stuff. Sometimes i pull it off and other times i struggle. These are records of these events. Want to send something? Have a 10x10 door just waiting to get stickered up.

You will get it sorted not a problem, bit of patience, nice looking car, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Shipping to Canada is always a drag.
Shipping is pretty lousy especially having to go to Canada. Hopefully it's a good harness. 👍
I have been wiring my Rambler with spade terminals on every wire instead of butt connectors. I figure it's easier to unplug than cut wires and resplicing. And I have a 50 ft reel of shrink wrap!😆
@@glennnickerson8438 with all the fails in this harness, i want to minimize the connections, and solder all the high load circuits.
@@glennnickerson8438 tell me more about the rambler. Dad’s first car was a 64
@@franksgarage8551 66 Rambler Classic 2 door sedan with a 61 Econoline straight axle (I put a small block Chevy in it). A Southern California car I paid $500.00 about 14 yrs ago. The Penny's have a video on their channel from 2 yrs or so ago.
I like the Old School wiring LOL The second kit looked like a GM fuse box
Great job, looks like it fared the move pretty well, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
I have a couple to move in my yard when you’re done! 😉
👍😊 - nice job.
Good job guys!
👍
Why??
@@gmc.joesousa4360 compliance, it was partly on neignbour’s property. Needles to say , i have been cutting his grass for 20 years. 😂
Yep It usually comes down to a little of this, a little of that, a little more of that, a little more this, and you finally got it where you want it to be. 👍 Probably something Confucius would say. 🥴
Why Did You Move It? Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
@@rockerpat1085 as requested by our municipality. Had a survey done and it was 1 foot over property line
Nice rig ,great colour, can't be too much to be done, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Ur video stopped by this morning. As I'm watching i c some of the comments, And I'm cing rocker pat, p Street, and GMC Joe. I know those fellas. 👍 Subbed and rang the bell. 😊
@@VinoRatRodbuilds hey, thanks, will do the same. Have a great day!
Awesome Car!!! Bummer About The Headlight Lense!!! The Number Of Shop's That Can't Do Wiring Is Amazing!!! You'll Get It All Wired Up Right!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
Nice car ! A few corners cut. Not really surprised though.
Dong the screwed up on the wiring
Nice looking Chevy Frank--I should have had you wired my Rambler, it's taken me months!😆
@@glennnickerson8438 i scratch wired my Fargo in 3 days.
I tried to make it look like a show car--shrink wrap on everything!😣
Not many Body shops can handle wiring. I've seen it all
What a good time - would love to be there. Thanks for sharing 👍😊
White no sugar please Frank ,love a nice coffee at shop
Looks like a excellent day for friends and a coffee, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Hi Dan, good to see you again. It's Dylan's dad from the antique motorcycle club. 👍👍

@@Hanlonsgarage maybe have to consider something like that.
Coffee and classic cars, goes hand in hand 👌
Juan Valdez would be proud LOL.
Some of those joints can be a bugga, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Just carry a spray bottle of windshield washer with you. If you need it spray it!
Yep. The right tool for the job. FYI for you guys, the Harbor Freight ball joint kit may do a front end job or 2 for you but it won't be as HD or long lasting as the Snap On, Mac, or OTC kits. Big Acme threads on that forcing screw and C clamp make it powerful and long lasting. The good ones are forged. The cheap ones are cast. toolman out.
@@LP23D6 thanks Mike! I have to add, greasing the theeads not only saves the tool but increases the pressing power by reducing drag.
If it was successful and no one got hurt in the making of said video then it can't be the redneck way!😆
Getting close Frank!😎
@@glennnickerson8438 its done! Second inspection complete, paperwork is done. Im the local qualifier for collector plates, so i will approve it ans get the plates tomorrow.
@@franksgarage8551 Congrats Frank! I spent some time with the Penny Boys a few weeks back in Minneapolis and they said once you got your safety inspection you're one and done! 😉

Just a tip and only for 2 minutes. I don't believe it !
✌
Everyone loves a good tip from Frank!😉
Actually the right side is the proper way. But last few months all of a sudden alot of people complaining that they aren't fitting properly and they aren't as thick as they suppose to be. The 64 I did a couple weeks ago had the same problem and there's a gap all the way around. For some reason they are 1/4" thinner to the originals. Also some people been getting the windshield and back seals joins twisted when put together so they aren't straight.
@@nummnuts22 but such a large gap, they would have to be pretty thick. I like how drivers door seals now. I had self-adhesive bulb seal that would work really well, but i paid way too much for weatherstrip and im gonna use it! 😂
@franksgarage8551 I totally agree with you. Glad they fit better backwards. Might have to try it with the 64
You must have found some Beetlejuice for the master cylinder. LOL
Looks like it's guna be a sweet little ride, getting a bit done, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Thin blade screw driver to remove Wolfsburg centre then 27mm socket to remove nut . 4 little screws holding indicator housing . Switch on stalk is high/low beam
@@vwcoco thank you Andy! Ok, high low? Cool! Guess i will be asking about some wiring stuff too.
Looks good in red Frank!
