I've been an Aldi customer for about 15 years, since our store first opened in town. The difference between their brands and name brands is insignificant. It used to be quite a bit cheaper. Now only a little bit cheaper. They don't have everything and sometimes they're out of stock, but on the whole they're great.

Can't any store bought soaps or shampoos because they all have chemicals that I'm allergic too.

Those fried apples in the can are delicious! I've bought them before. I think you will really like them!

You need practice with that camera. It's all over the place.... making me dizzy!

Aldi is a great store. Next to Kroger when you use the coupons there. Those are my two go to places.

I love Aldi's also but there's some things I can't get there.

I'm an Aldi girl too - plus, here in Alabama, of your $150 +, $15 of that was taxes. So, you only spent $135ish on groceries. I use their oatmeal for everything and I love those peanut bars. I buy my loso chicken broth there, tomato products, most of my produce and their sourdough bread is awesome! You had a really good shopping trip and Harold is such a big help!

Hi Mama Sue i love seeing all the different items you have in the USA grocery stores, as i live in Australia we have Aldi. Cost of living is high here around 650.00 a week on food. 😮regards Leanne

We have Aldi's and Lidl's but they're across town and it's easier to go to our little Walmart Marketplace. At least there, I'm not tempted to buy anything except food and basic things. I believe these stores keep Walmart in check--keeps some of the prices lower to compete (like milk). I buy a lot of store brand items, too. I rarely ever buy meat at Walmart--I shop for the grocery store sales, and we go to Sam's Club. We can make a lot of meals off a $4.98 rotisserie chicken!

I love Aldi's. We love their pork loin, all the chips, their coffee creamer. So thankful for their lower prices

This is such a sweet video! Love hearing your memories and the encouragement. We always have the same meal too on New Year's Day. One year I was talking with someone and mentioned about New Year's Day meal and they said Oh!! I thought all the feasting was over with. I guess they did not have a special New Year's Day meal.

I love this whole video, y'all are so sweet, and wonderful that you are so close, both physically & in relationship too, with each other! Love hearing the story of how Harold found Mason with baby Jesus in his mouth. LOL.

We use to raise a big garden but now do raised bed and container gardening. Thank goodness I have a cousin who raises a big garden and gives away a lot of it. Several weeks ago, we put up 40 quarts of green beans and this week, we did 17 quart bags of corn for the freezer. I parboil the corn on the cob, then let it cool and cut it off. It was a lot of hard work but we feel so blessed to have it. 🙏♥️😊
