No longer living in the area but grew up in the town, fascinating to see the changes currently happening. Tbh videos like this upset me a bit, as it’s not nice to see buildings that were once thriving businesses now lying derelict.

I remember that as the old C&A. Haven’t been up the town in a while so lots of changes going on. Looks so different now

Chris that's another lovely walk. . I remember one winter's morning walking down Moden Hill to the reserve only to slip on ice and ending up sliding all the way down the hill!!

I left mons hill school in 1988, one year before it closed. Great memories of spike and bob fortune 🙂

I walk past every morning on my way to work. It's looking much better now that the old C&A "farmfoods" is gone 👍🏻

I also forgot to add trams run every 8 minutes weekday and every 15 minutes on weekends

7:13 best way to get to great bridge is walk to wednesbury bus station catch 11A then get off by Tipton Asda and catch the 43 and that takes you to great bridge

6:43 between black lake and Wednesbury great western street is where the new turn off is and takes you towards Dudley way.

This building has always been fenced off because it closed down due to COVID I believe it was a old gym 3:26

I first visited Dudley nearly 60 years ago. It's really been neglected since then. The best thing they could do now is tear down the lot and start again.

I remember QuickSave being in there, and C&A clothes shop.

Dudley used to be best place to go, beatties c&a the market was the best, the zoo and castle 3 cinemas, loads of shops, toy shop round the back, the fountains arcade, they even had a Yates wine lodge, used to go drinking in the early 80s with mates, I hate regeneration it's so sad to see old places and shops change,

An application to convert the former Metro Bar on Trindle Road in Dudley town centre into a shop on the ground floor and five one-bedroom apartments on the first and second floors has gone in to Dudley Council.
