I don't consider myself a songwriter, but I do sometimes get the urge to try my hand at it! Ralph had some great insight into the process.

This guy sees a need (that nobody really knew they could use) and makes it his job to be that person! It's so easy to just get caught up in what exists already that we forget we don't have to follow the mold! Also, you can almost literally never go wrong with September. Or Earth, Wind, & Fire for that matter!

Great video! I love Tom's advice about "being for what is right, not who is right"... Can solve a lot of problems more efficiently that way!

I think it's great that Global Songwriters Connection is run totally by singer-songwriters! That really creates a much more personal feel for everyone who goes to the organization for guidance, knowing that everyone has been in their place before.

I had no idea about how common it is for artists to have their websites flagged as malicious simply for misusing key words and improper metadata... Great information!
