    Nice video, everything is clear except how the positive , negative and ground ( green wire) connect to the power supply. I have a power supply with positive and negative output so it’s clear how the first two power connections are made . Not sure where to plug in the green wire 😢 unless it goes to earth ground on the power supply ? If so my power supply is no longer floating . Would be great if someone could help clarify how the 3 power wires are connecting to power supply in the video . Thank you so much !

      Hello Greg, thank you for the comment. I am using a "split" power supply to power this op-amp. This means that it provides 3 voltage points from the supply. RED = +15V BLACK = 0V (GND) and GREEN = (-15V) If this is not provided, the op-amp will not be able to provide any NEGATIVE output swings. To overcome this arrangement challenge, we can place 2x 9V batteries in SERIES. The top positive is taken as POSITIVE, the connection BETWEEN the two batteries where the negative and positive connect, is GND (0V). The NEGATIVE of the second battery is then taken as -9V to the negative supply of the circuit. 73

      Also want to mention I just successfully implemented both circuits using same power supply configuration. Going to buy a couple of green wires for completeness :) so happy I finally got this working

      Hi Puggie, the op-amp is used as a pre-amp for guitars. I made a class B amplifier for the outdoor public address that works nice and loud when I sing and play my guitar
