These old 78RPM records are fragile and are not even in HIGH FIDELITY . I was a kid in the late 1950's and one day I put a stack of old 78RPM records on an automatic turntable , turned it "ON" , pushed "REJECT" and when the first record dropped on the turntable , it shattered into several pieces . Since the turntable was spinning at 78RPM , it threw broken record pieces all over the place . I apologized to my parents for breaking one of their records .

These early recordings were fragile and weren't even in HIGH FIDELITY as HIGH FIDELITY did not come out until the 1950's .
