Once you get titanic hydra you'll find pushing is very easy. You don't need to sacrifice a flash to gain early pushing abilities. Sometimes they'll try to burst you down asap so in that case you can flash and give the tower 3-4 more auto attacks, which is often the difference between successful inting or not. Besides when you playing this strategy, you almost never have a chance to take the dragon together with your team. The core strategy is to split push and often you are so strong, you don't really need to "inting" anymore and they need at least two people to stop you or at least three people to kill you. In that case, free baron/dragon for your teammate. So it is crucial to not die and feed at the start of the game. Play it as if you are playing a normal toplaner. take flash and save yourself from danger. I hope that can explain a bit. Cheers :)
