Just depends on what you are after there is alot to see in Bangkok and it’s easy to get around and some good markets, shops , nightclubs and bars and party areas, but also alot of culture and day trips. Pattaya is more about partying and girls but there is some good islands off the coast.

Don’t know if I would be allowed to film in there without permission but sounds like an interesting place. But don’t think wife would let me in there alone 😂😂 though be interesting to do some interviews in there. Maybe I should research if any of these sorts of clubs in Chiang Mai where I live and see if they would allow me to interview someone.

Oh this was just a short I did a full detailed video on this journey as well about same time I put up the short. It was a good day trip from Bangkok a lot of scenery. And fairly cheap to do, you have options standard seats which can be abit uncomfortable and non airconditioned but you get do some good photography out the window, or you have the air conditioned carriages which are more comfortable but can't open the windows. There is a few stops on the way there to go exploring. The last stop on the way is a waterfall area where you can get wet if you want too or just relax in the nature surroundings and enjoy some good food. I would normally drive to the area, but we did the train just as a one off experience for fun. You buy the tickets from most major train stations in Bangkok and buy a return trip

Oh -15 I have not been in that temperature in a very long time. 16 - 31 degree c here today. I am quite spiritual and though I am Catholic I have learnt abit about other religions in my years and feel comfortable in a church or a Buddhist or Hindu Temple to meditate or pray as does Ann and she likes to learn and explore too. Buddhism and Hinduism are quite interlinked in history and so the buddhists in Thailand also have respect for the Hindu gods. Ann bought a Lakshmi and Ganesha for my desk at home a few weeks ago. But she really wanted to see this ceremony so we went. Though usually in a lot of official Hindu Temples they will be quite open and large but this was a small privately run one. I got a really sore throat after the ceremony though due to poor ventilation on there with all the people and incense burning so had to stand outside for a while.

Thank you for watching. No problem enjoy I am thinking of going back again in next couple of months because I found it so relaxing. Though this time will do the island tours as my wife enjoyed them.

Iconsiam is a big shopping mall and is constantly celebrating various things, and you can also take river cruises from here, and its free to walk around and explore. Lots of shops and restaurants here too. Bottom level has some great Thai food options.
