I think rather than focusing on what we cannot control such as what others may say to us or think about us it's important to remember what we can control. You are never going to be able to control what everybody else thinks or says to you. Focus on the things that are within your control such as your reaction to a situation and your own ability to keep your mood in the right place. Something that you can do that is within your own power is work towards becoming a strong individual who is not affected by "micro-aggressions" or people who may disagree with you. Someone who is mentally healthy understands that other people around you are not responsible for your mood worsening because they don't understand or don't subscribe your same belief system.

I have a suspicion Dan is bi and so AB and Ethan are like “omg! Dan didn’t do anything homophobic he’s an ally!” but as straight males (ethan and AB) they are not to realizing that Dan can still be saying homophobic things even if he is part of the community. Yes!!! Finally someone actually going in depth about this monstrosity of a podcast! I have been watching it over the past few days (takes that long with Shane for me 😭) and I was just shocked at how NO ONE is taking about this... Shane’s incessant flirting with Chris, make his him and everyone else uncomfortable.. poor ryland I forgot he was even there and half the time when he WOULD get a word in, it was Shane being annoyed, interrupting, or “moving on”. Jerid is just there dog whistling his stupid beliefs to a more progressive audience and then acting like he’s so progressive. The woke jokes are already tired and just annoying. Also his constant gay jokes? It’s like a cishet person having the wrong idea about lgbt acceptance and support by making it seem like they are so accepting and “get it” when it’s deep down just a matter of, “I’m a cishet person who can be lighthearted about this matter, look at how progressive and accepting I am! Because queer folks definitely only need a cishet’s acceptance and validation to be true validation!” And just making Chris’s sexual preference his entire personality, even naming his fans after the term “bear chasers”... it is honestly just icky in EVERY wat
