Hi! I have some suggestions Violent language How to say fruits How to say some foods How to say veggies How to tell someone if they are okay How to try and talk to someone like saying “come on wake up lets go” or “hurry up otherwise we are late” and yeah. Thats all. I’ll probably come up with more
Kia Orana, Thank you for the awesome suggestions! This is exactly what we need to create more lessons. Meitaki atupaka!
Can you subtitle to make it easier for me to learn
Kia Orana, Sorry we don't have the resources to do this quite yet. One day when someone makes a Cook Island's Māori subtitle translator maybe.

"Kua pau taku 'au" i te reo mita o Taranaki mātongatonga. Nei rā te mi'i mā'ana ki a koutou e mau tonu i te mita Tuakana 😊 I had a conversation with an East Coast Māori who said that he believes our languages are really two dialects of the same language. I disagreed with him because i think there are quite a few instances where our sentence structure are built different to one another. When it comes to vocabulary then yup, i can see many similarities or straight ritenga. I was also wondering if you knew where i could find any books that talk about pre Christian, Cook Island spirituality/religion? I've read quite a bit in the JSTOR Polynesian Society Journals but they're lackluster in their descriptions. Ngā mi'i mā'ana 😊
Kia orana my dads name is paruru
love this 😂
Thank you 🌸
